Just a short review today as I have already been super busy on the forum.
So, what do you all think about Asad's apology?
I think it was totally in character for Akdu Ahmed Khan..
1. Loved the fact that Zoya could prove her innocence thanks to her precious iPad. The stone eye has been revealed and now it's just a matter of time the culprit is caught. Did anyone notice how guilty and apologetic he looked when Zoya showed him the evidence? Ammi rubbed it in by reminding him about how rude he was to the 'bechari.' This time he didn't say 'ammi wo bechari nahin hai.' Just goes to show that he swallowed all his ego and was genuinely ashamed of his behavior.
2. He knocked at her door. He hasn't done that in a while. Goes to show, that he respects her and wasn't going to force his 'haq' on her today.
3. He didn't give her a chance to blast him. He started off with a sorry- very rare for Akdu and apologized genuinely.
4. He let her vent out and when he couldn't handle the emotions, he walked out after leaving the saugat.
5. Coming to my favorite part of his apology- he left a note inside the box.
"maine aapko pehle bhi sari mein dekha tha. Aap bahut khubsoorat lag rahi thi."
Who says, he hasn't had any character growth? A man like AAK, praised Zoya's beauty with written words, just not his eyes. The journey from the eyes to his pen has been long but very welcome. I am sure one day the journey will be complete when it reaches his lips.
Zoya's heart melted at his gesture. She knows him well and this time didn't complain about his walking out to an 'emotionally challenged' gesture. The saugat and his words more than made up for his inability to express.
6. On the dining table, he was quiet. He let her do the blabbering and silly eye rolling. That's what a husband does after he has made a grave mistake.
