just why does conventional and popular albeit completely idiotic ideas over power common sense??

Why Allah Miya why?

Before I even begin to berate the 4 Lions, I wish to yell at Zee Tv for their ridiculous tweet.. something about, do we want the lovers to unite?? Meh Like really? you tweet that?Or did your brains go grazing @Gul's dreamland pastures?

Akal na channel ke paas hai, na 4 Lions ke paas , aur sabse important na hum audience mein...
Hum audience ko toh allah miyan ne akal bakshi hi nahi hai, isliye crap ko tolerate karte hai...

I dare you...pick any channel, pick any show, the simpering, suffering, the all sacrificing woman takes the cake...what exactly do entertainment channels wish to convey...that to conquer all odds and triumph a woman has to unjustly go through insults, humiliations and mental ( if not physical) assaults. That makes you bledddy MAHAAN????? and especially if the woman is reduced to tears by the man she loves, because of the universally abused emotion of LOVE.. it makes you 7 times more MAHAAN, one for each godforsaken janam??

What gives men with troubled past the right to treat women like crap??Because it entertains? Of course I have the right to switch channels and put my remote to good use.. but unfortunately that wont solve the problem...much like closing my eyes to all the ills that plague my country won't make it all go away...That's why an occasional Anna or Kejriwal rises.

It all boils down to one emotion or trait.. ATTITUDE...

If only I could get my grasp on Gul's neck ;to wring her neck like the poor chick in kitty's clutches... She is so arrogant!!!! Knowing fully well that she can work her M&B stories every single time..and all she needs to do to soothe frayed nerves is bring in a Maaahiii, a Rabba Veyyy and now a Mitwaaa moment and all will be forgotten. Such mockery!!!😕

I adore KSG and SJ, so none of the hatred ( yes, a very strong word indeed) is directed at them. It's for those f***heads that conjure up such muddled ideas to rev the show on the TRP's chart.

All is fine in Gul's world, because all is fair in love and war😡??
A plague infecting rat's ass crack I care!!!!🤢

What gives these sickos the right to portray anguished, scarred men to repeatedly insult and wounding women emotionally? And, why is Zoya trading her dignity and self respect for love? I'm sure people can live without love, but stripped of self respect, I am not so sure?

I might be an extremist for saying that, but trust, honesty and commitment to see things through is what constitutes the emotion called LOVE. Don't heap crap on audience by portraying an asshole attitude as LOVE..

Zoya may not be the best of example and she needn't be.. but the all knowing Asad Ahmed Khan can be the saner one right? Especially since he proclaims himself to be so at every given opportunity and belittle Zoya at the drop of a hat. Of course all this is circumstantial, twist hai varna show mein mirchi kaise padegi?

Lekin character dekho.. woh chudail jo likh rahi hai...

Asad is emotionally vulnerable so he is scared of relationships...Mom and sis/bro are fine but he wants nothing to do with those of the romantic kinds.
He is right in jumping to conclusions because Zoya, he deems clumsy and irresponsible.
He is right in dragging Zoya's past to humiliate her every single time..His tirades always has to mention Zoya's orphaned past, foster care, adoption and subsequently her upbringing in NY..
And all this is justified because he LOVES Zoya..

Take that you shitty audience. That demented Asad has very near God complex...and on the rare occasion that the man who cant do no wrong, he can make it up by turning on his charm...and everything is supposed to be forgotten because he mouths the one word that's not in his dictionary..SORRY.

Too Little Too Late...Die Gul Die.. ( strictly,in terms of the show )

She'll never learn anything out of her previous two ventures. Just by having a modern day, sensible and somewhat stronger character sketch like Zoya's doesn't suffice.. A rare women living ( and making a living, nay fortune) inside a MCP's head.

Yes finally someone had the guts to say this, it was so neede in this forum. I totally agree with you, We as audience have to put up with some crap just for the sake of entertainment.
It is sad to see a strong, well educated and independent Zoya reduce to that of a floor mat all because of a MCP.
Gul need to get her head out of her ass and gave up a proper character development for these two.

(I posted this elsewhere, too, but it also fits here...)

Soap writers don't write characters with that much depth... ...but in the odd moments they have made Mr. Khan acknowledge his feelings to himself, I get the glimmer of hope that maybe he is not as much of a d*bag as he makes himself out to be.
Unfortunately, it just remains a glimmer.

But isn't this the usual practice on the forum and/or of viewers?
Find a reason to digest it?

I'll be frank... I lost all respect for him the day he slapped Ms. Farouqui...once someone has been a perpetrator and the other a victim, for them to go back to a trusting relationship takes months and years of therapy... as evidenced by the fact that a few days later, Ms. Farouqi flinched when he raised his hand (Teri-Meri song/dance).

I don't believe in violence... other than perhaps in self-defense or in the defense of someone one cares for / is a victim and the abuse is taking place in front of one's eyes and that is the only way to stop the perpetrator.
Mr. Khan had no such excuse.

But then he does not need any excuse, does he?
Ms. Farouqui is his convenient punching bag.
What is truly perplexing is that as with the previous show, they took a strong, bold female lead and made her a simpering idiot, willing to take any sh*t int he name of 'luuurve'.

I recall that the PH made the male lead of the previous show also out to be an even bigger d*bag and a jerk, but we all still watched because in terms of romance, no one seems to do it better on TV than this PH.

But what message are they actually sending to impressionable girls and women?
That eye-candy excuses abuse?
Yeah, we got that.😕

So did all the starry-eyed girls and women who are now going to anticipate and accept such abuse from their partners, with the excuse of, 'but he loves me so much."
*gag*

Thank you Jayne and Latanzia....well, we do have folks like ourselves on the forum so maybe all is not lost... though in minority I hope we can continue to champion the cause we espouse.

Post the slap, and the constant verbal strip down AAK dishes out, I am not sure I can hold out for longer than intended with QH. Guess I am nursing a vain hope that Gul will deliver the third time around.

Needless to say being a woman producer in the male dominated industry must have been challenging enough and she must have learnt lessons to last a lifetime. Nobody wants to see a docu-drama on woman empowerment, we get that. I'll tune into DD national for some gyaan darshan for it, but not using a popular platform like she showcases to send in subtle but powerful feelers, specially in the times that we live, is sinful.

There's a reason Baalika Vadhu, Diya aur Baati and Pratigya were chart toppers. Social message aside they managed to etch their characters well into the audiences minds. So who says social responsibility don't walk hand in hand with entertainment?

In all her shows, Gul has managed to portray that women are the root cause of all evils. At least the aam aadmi with decent IQ scores will interpret that. And, all her heroes unleash their fury on their love interests and others and call it LOVE. And this is beautifully gift wrapped as ROMANCE and ENTERTAINMENT and we are supposed to go...aaahhh..ooohhh..., thud, dead, faint, how cute, wish I had someone like him to love me...🤢

GAGGING MYSELF😕

😡 Even passage of time hasn't dampened my annoyance.😕

Good post.

Agree totally.

Someone in the forum had mentioned, they don't want azad to slap tanvir, coz it will imply that tanvir is important in azad's life!! Can you beat that? That means, azad slapping zoya is ok, since it implies zoya is impt/significant to asad! What kind of crazy logic is this? Hence that slap is viewed by many with undercurrents of love?!!! Grrr... Makes your blood boil!

👏 I so agree with you Godhelpus.. The message being sent out by Gul and team of qubool hai is not only wrong but it's sickening to see two adults women fighting like cats and dogs and also what are they trying to show that women in Muslim family uses these kinda weird techniques to put down each other and the men in the family are dumb.. Don't get me started with Asad behavior towards Zoya after being slapped the girl still behave as if nothing has happened and falling head over heels with Asad 🤢

Holy Mother of Christ!

Did they indeed? 😲 Excuse if I sound like an ass, but I don't really read 99% of the posts on this forum. And you know why, don't you? I don't have time for stuff literate retards (no offense to anyone) write, besides they only end up pumping up my BP😃 I pick and choose handful posts going by the ID I'm familiar with and those that are on same wavelength as mine.

They piss me off soon enough with their Swoons !!! and Faints!!! and THUD's!!! and Deads!!!.. Those who value brawn power over brain , even if it's only entertainment, don't warrant my attention. They are just not that important in my life😉

So, going by their crazy logic...I love them, don't I?😆

llin, Why thank you ma'm😊 Good to have some might behind my thought. Thankfully, none of us are getting the stick on this forum. Not that we care.

Bu the point you make is a compelling one. Men playing dumb in Gul's world. It's as if Gul is exacting in her revenge on mankind in her own terms. Sadly she is failed by the stereotypes she creates.

Allow me to illustrate, Except Dev do you recall any strong male character in Geet? Not that Dev had an iota of virility in him. Men are not just those with balls. Homo sapiens with strength of character is what we call, "got the balls😛" Much like Phoolan Devi or a Fatima Bi...they are more man than any Incredible hunk.

Maan was clued in on being Mahaan, even he faltered twice, once upon discovering Geet's pregnancy and second time around implying Geet and her lineage together din't have blood worth a dime for forgiving Dev.

And then Geet goes, playing match maker between her cousin sister and Dev. Its said to forgive and forget is to be God. But really, who wants to play God?

Sigh! I digress..

Point being, I am the only audience at home for QH, and no day passes when someone at home mentions exactly what you say. Kya bakwass show dekhti ho, kutte billi ki tarah ghar ke bade buzurg ladte rehte hai, aur idhar Asad tehzeeb ke kambal mein lapetkar Zoya ko beizzat karte rehta hai...aise hote hai parivaar, ye hoti hai tameez ?

Now how do I counter that?

And I hate to say this, but I sort of sheepishly admit that I use the terrific one liner;
Daddy, its only a TV show, kahani hai, bas.😕

Where is a shrink when you need one😳!
