Not sure about others but I don't bash Asad for yelling at Zoya...

It's because he jumps to conclusions that Zoya can do no right ever, and that she is undeserving of a family and irresponsible ALWAYS, that constantly reminds her of her orphaned childhood, being in foster care and especially that she has no tameez and tehzeeb because she was raised in US.

That's uncalled for. Expressing your anger is good. You should let the other person know what you see wrong in them but not by stripping the other of self respect. Such vicious attack is uncalled for.

I would never trust a third person saying stuff about my friends, wouldn't even tolerate it. But I am not going to get into a yell fest and name calling and tagging people with irresponsible behavior for it.

The fact that Asad takes it for granted that he has Zoya for a punching bag is far more annoying. I would probably settle differences by a physical fight if anyone so much as insinuated vile stuff about my friends. But this is not me or you, its about Asad Ahmed Khan, who thinks he is always right and Zoya is ALWAYS WRONG.

He is right in standing up for Tannu, but not by constantly humiliating Zoya at every given opportunity. His anger never seems for the moment, he just has to drag in Zoya's upbringing and remind her about her troubled past. as if that's not enough he has the arrogance to declare that she is not fit to be in a family..past toh past future bhi Asad hi decide karenge..

Khud ko kya bhagwaan samajhte hai?? apne past ke wajah se khud commit karna nahi qubool kar paa rahe hai, toh doosro ke liye kya judgement dete phir rahe hai?

Pehle apne aib toh dekhe phir doosro ko lecture jhade. he is aware Zoya has a far more traumatic childhood than him, at least he had the luxury of a loving mom and adoring sis, to live for to die for, but Zoya has been denied even that.

But she continues to be zestful and optimistic about life, finding meaning in helping others, risking her safety in the process...so I hate to say this, but who really is bigger of the two?

Just because you can't come to terms with your past and your present day feelings, why is Asad projecting his failures onto Zoya? what kind of an indecisive man he is if he can neither let Zoya go nor tolerate her around him? he can't have Zoya in parts, in love you need to accept the person as is.

Whats with the high handed attitude he reserves only for Zoya? That man needs a reality check. Sorry Mr Khan you can't have best of both worlds. That's life's crushing reality for you. either make peace with your past and forge relationships for future with positivism or let Zoya go, she is far more stronger than you and will take even your cruelty in her stride.

Asad can't take a stand and that my problem with him. KSG, of course, I adore. Fabulous actor.

Asad and tannu knew each other as kids.. and a lot can happen between then and now that goes into shaping an individual.

If Asad can extend that knowledge as courtesy to his childhood friend and believes she is the same, why can't he stop being judgmental about Zoya? He has after all seen Zoya's courage, intents, and bonding with his mom and sis. so based on the good aspects why can't he cap his anger?

Upar se bewakoof pyaar bhi karta hai, toh itna bedardi types volcanic eruptions kyu deta hai...Purely from circumstantial evidences, Zoya ko daant lagaana banta hai, lekin aise taane maar ke, dil dukha ke, uff allah...inhuman hai.. itna bura toh mujhe tannu ka us murge ka qatal karne pe nahi laga...

Come on even if Zoya had changed the blood or whatever! You have got no rights to speak like that!

You talk about Tehmeez where as you set examples of how you should be Batameez?

GREAT. Even when you know how much to this girl Zoya a family counts a family means a relation means, you just cant say like that ki shedoesn'thave any value for the.

Fine i understand it is forfutureguilt stricken Asad to love Zoya more unconditionally. But then yes it really made me cry.
And it is also true, people actually who knoweverythingabout you pass comments like this at every possible moments! <\3

Exactly Ankita Dilshad needed to slap
Asad then and there for his pigheadedness. I felt like slapping him yesterday too.
Pehle to mujhe inka aur BB ki rishta samajh me nahin ata. Loving and caring for you childhood friend is ok but Being obsessive is a different matter altogether. I have my childhood friend too and we were inseperable at one point of our life. But at this point although we cherish those moments and keep contacts we are not OTT like Asad. He is more like a concerned hubby or a father figure then a childhood friend. I don't know whose fault is that though. Is it Asads character or the CVs are going overboard in this friendship just to create drama in the serial? No matter what it is kinda abnormal.
Coming to yesterday's episode why would someone think that Zoya switched BBs blood with chickens? I mean does that make any sense? On top of that didn't she gave enough proof that she values relationships more than anything? Asad knew about the entire plan and even everybody in the khan household knew then why would she do such stupid thing ?
Asad has no brain, no trust and no spine. He is too coward to admit his feelings to Zoya but at the same time doesn't let her leave him also. He humiliated her yesterday because he couldn't deal with his feelings for her. That's outright wrong and spineless cowardish act by him.
What he did yesterday was plain abuse.
Sorry but blind logics to justify Asad won't work anymore. It's too much already.

I agree Asad can't have both worlds and btw its ok to be concerned for your Best Friend( although I feel here it is a bit OTT) anyway it's horrible to continuously taunt and humiliate the person you desire( well I won't say love since I felt when you love someone you can't be such a pig no matter what happens)at every chance you get. Specially when that person is a gem and you know it.

@All: Thank you so much for ur feedback & povs... I didn't knw my topic will get such response considering last time i made topic post on QH which ws totally positive hardly few members came forwrad to comment & like for it.. It's true we Indians love masala no matter where we stay in the world.. Positive topics hardly gets any response.. Kuch arguement wala topic hain toh de dana dan response milta hain.. I am pleased with everybody response to this topic.. Thank you once again... @Trinaa: Zoya too hasn't expressed her feeling for asad even when asad gave her enough hints.. She hs tried to make mazak of him being statue..etc.. Whenever asad gave her hints that he is ready for real marriage... Asad never wants zoya to be in any trouble bt zoya being smart tries to show her ego bt only ends up on wrong side... Asad wanted zoya to be away frm mariyam, asad didn't like when zoya without telling him went to ayaan-humeria sagai.. Asad saved zoya frm goons when she tried to show nakli karate power in railway station scene in the very 1st few epi.. Asad doesn't like zoya to go alone anywhere outside bcoz he is worried abt her... Nobody sees this bt always there to bash & blame him...

Hang on a minute - the fact that he thinks its ok to dictate what time a woman should b at home and that she shouldn't be out alone screams of chauvinism! I m sorry who the hell gave him or anyone the right to decide what is the appropriate time for a woman to come home?!

Asad saved Zoya from the goons...well he did put her in that situation so he better have saved her from akram.

Mangalpur is possibly the only time in the series that Asad showed character development and of course a brief period after the truth about her father came out. Barring that Asad is not an easy character to root for. Do I see his pov?-yes! But I cannot agree with him!
