i know that in this age self respect and self dignity are more important that love. its easy to fall in love but trust is not easy to come by. and it is rarely given . trust has to be earned. that is the truth. a boy wont trust his girlfriend at first glance, not will a girl fall for a boy at first glance. respect, trust and dependebiliyt has to be earned.

Asad is in love with Zoya, but he is prejudice to wards her. this makes him doubt her dependability.
Zoya does not have such handicamp, she depends on him, and knows that when the time comes and she is in trouble he will be there. so she is finds it easy to forgive.
Asad on the other hand is handicap by his inability to depend on other people. from a young age he had to relie on himself to be the man of the house. be his mother's and sisters strength. he loves his mother but does not depend on her, he does not trust her emotionaly to be strong. and that is his problem. he judges Zoya on her apprence though this is the same thing that attracts him. he knows she has a good heart. but he does not believe her to be a responsible sort. so he doubts her. only time and his own mistakes will change him. and teach his to trust with his heart

For me even the actors are to blame, they know what the parts that they are acting are degrading women still they do it. They have every right to back out and say they wouldn't do a particular scene.

Dear Merrydock.. you said it! You are bang on about what plagues Mr Stress Ahmed Khan. Yet as matured adults I would agree to disagree that, such a handicap should be an excuse enough for Asad to mete out such treatment to Zoya every single time.

You are right trusting would mean getting to know each other and with circumstances playing havoc he is getting little or no help in ridding himself of his prejudices.. yet I don't think that justifies Asad's behavior towards her. In fact why Zoya, if Asad berated even a man in such a fashion I would object...Yaar kisiki upbringing aur family ko baat baat pe beech mein ghaseetna sharif logo ki pehchaan nahi hota... insaan jo hota hai, woh sirf apne karam se hota hai...tohmat lagane se pehle sochna chahiye, ke main jo bol raha hoon, uska implications kya hai...

bina soche bolna agar Zoya ki character sketch mein hai toh Asad ko toh differently project kiya hai na.. toh audience ki narazgi bhi justified hui na...haan ke nahi?

am no actor, but I think the very definition of a true actor is to submit oneself to the script and that one can only interpret the role as an individual and not bring in his own idea of what should be...indeed they have the right to refuse, but i guess that would be viewed as non cooperation or a difficult actor..nobody wants to commit harakiri with their career right? there's big money involved, so its pure common sense...you can always say you do something because your role demanded it and that you are a directors actor blah blah ..

that way blame can be shifted onto the PH.. and that's exactly what is happening. Gul is the evil one..everyone loves KSG.

talk about weird dynamics at play!😉
