Zoya sank down on the chair. "No... this is not happening! Fight up damnit!" she thought. Tears were continuously striking down her eyes. All that was in her mind was - She can't loose him! She just can't. "I will die Asad! God damn wake up!" her insides were screaming it again and again. She just knew one thing, if today she would by any chance loose him, she would die the same moment. She didn't have any much more strength left to bear it. All her life she had lost everyone she had close to her and now him? She just can't bare it! She was sitting on the hospital bench in-front of the ICU.

There, inside the ICU, Asad was fighting hard to overpower it and just wake up for her, for the love of his life. They both had just confessed their feelings - for like 2-3 days before and now today, this is the point destiny had made them reach to! They were just on a long drive. Both of the love birds were so much engrossed in each other that Asad didn't noticed the truck coming towards them. And when they did, it was too late. The car had crashed into the truck but luckily Asad had pushed Zoya out of the car just at the right time and thus she was safe with some minor injuries but Asad was injured badly. They had just found the love of their life and now this is where they are standing - between life and death!

Zoya remembered how they met for the first time. The sparks that had flown between them. Her hand is presently covering her mouth as she tried stopping her loud cries but that was a fail BIG time. Her cries were not stopping at all. Dilshaad and Najma were out so she could not even call them. She don't know what she is doing. All that was in her mind that she can't loose him. At-least after their confession. So true it is. She is sitting and sobbing outside the ICU and inside, her heart is bleeding and pleading him to just wake up.

Finally after what it seems like ages Asad said or to say whispered a word - "Zoya". Doctors inside heaved a sigh knowing it won't be much hard to save him now as he was at-least responding. They again started their work up as a nurse walked out to bring something. Seeing a nurse coming out Zoya rushed to her while the nurse shooed her away saying that they can't say anything then. Tears of helplessness were continuously flowing down her eyes. And all this time, a pair of eyes was continuously gazing at her and planning up something evil in her mind. She was thinking how easily she could torture her by torturing Asad! Asad was responding now. He was fighting, fighting for her!

After what seems like eternity, doctors came out and announced that he is safe and she can meet him. Zoya thanked the doctor and went in to see a wounded Asad lying on the bed in deep slumber. She went towards him and caressed his forehead while he winced. She quickly took her hand back as he opened his eyes. He smiled at her while she still had tears trickling down her eyes. He picked up his hand and wiped them up with great difficulty. She took a hold of his hand and cried in them making a silent promise to herself that won't let any danger even come near their life.
