awww...baby!!!!! sorry...yes taken nina..though i didn't write it.., but still i owe an apology as you are hurted...its same way we pronounce that word in Tamil., i mean among tamilians...i am very glad that we pronounce an Arabic word properly...😊

It's Assam-o-Alaikum, which means death. Not Salam. Yea i know they are not saying it right. But it is two different words. Assam means death. And i am just not saying it. I learned arabic and i am telling u based on that.

Such a big deal with pronouncing a word.

I don't think God really cares how you pronounce it as long as your intention is right. I guess , we, Muslims, focus too much on outer things than inner things.

And using it with people, very few people try to distinguish unless they are Arabic linguist .

Yes, it is true dat d meaning of the word changes if u pronounce it wrong. But in Arabic 'Asalam alikum' means 'Peace be upon u'. And if u pronounce it differently it will have other meaning.
