Chapter 2

Precap: Zoya was slapped by Raziya she comes home only to be told off by Asad. She is walking to her room but faints and gets hurt. While Asad and Dilshad are talking they suddenly hear a scream from Zoya's room. They go to see what happened and what they see had shocked them.

Dilshad/Asad: "Zoya what happened are you okay?!?!"

Dilshad and Asad walk into the room only to be shocked and see that they room was on fire. They saw Zoya sitting up on the bed crying and screaming her lungs out.

Zoya: "AAJ AMMI BACHAO!! AAJ! PLEASE BACHAO!"

Dilshad told Asad to go quickly grab in because Zoya was already having a full blast panic attack. The flames had already made their way to her bed and Zoya was too weak to get away from the flames. Asad ran in to grab Zoya but before he could Zoya's kurta caught on fire exactly where she was burned when she was a child. Zoya saw this and started screaming and fainted due to the stress that she was currently suffering from right after a head injury. Asad quickly brought Zoya out of the room. Dilshad wrapped her up in a blanket to stop the flames from doing any more severe damage on her hand.

Dilshad: "Najma beta! Come quickly Zoya's room is on fire!"

Najma quickly ran downstairs to see a pale lifeless Zoya lying on the couch. Her right sleeve to her kurta was seared and burned to crisps and she could the red fresh flesh on her arm burned. Najma quickly called for the doctor while Asad had gone back to put out the fire in Zoya's room. After several buckets of water the fire was finally put out and Asad quickly rushed to Zoya to see if she was okay. Just then Najma ran in with the doctor.

Dilshad: "Doctor Sahib please hurry and check on Zoya and make sure she is okay! Her room was on fire and she was stuck in there. Look even her arm got burned where she was previously burned when she was a child. Please doctor sahib help her!"

Doctor: "Yes I will look at her Mrs. Khan but for now I need you to calm down and please help me to carry her into a room so I can do a proper exam on her."

Asad quickly came up and swiftly picked Zoya up in his arms. He held her close to his body as if his life depended on it. He looked down to see her pale face and then her arm which looked as if it was burned badly from the fire. Asad felt a pang of fear hit him as he thought he would lose his Zoya forever. Asad entered his room and laid Zoya down on his bed. The doctor quickly came up to her and started checking on her condition. After 20 minutes of careful examination the doctor went up to Dilshad and asked If he could speak to her outside. Dilshad quietly nodded and followed the doctor outside the room.

Doctor: "Mrs. Khan, Zoya will be fine she has suffered from a severe second degree burn. The burn itself will take at least 1-2 weeks to get better. Since it has reached the second part of the skin it will be very painful and I am afraid to say she will have yet another scar on top of the old scar from her previous burn. I have prescribed some pain meds for the burn and also other medicine that she can rub on the burn to help with the healing but I can't guarantee anymore. Also it seems to me that she has also suffered from shock due to the fact since she was already in bad condition from her previous accident just not a while ago. I recommend strict bed rest and no stress for her what so ever."

While the doctor was talking to her the color had completely drained out of dilshad's face. She was so worried now.

Dilshad: "Thank you doctor sahib I will make sure that Zoya is well taken care of. I will have my son go get the medicines for Zoya."

Doctor: "Okay if there is anything please do call me. Allah Hafiz"

Dilshad: "Allah Hafiz"

While all this was occurring another pair of eyes standing in her room and watching carefully at everything that was happening and quickly went inside to make a call.

Raziya: "What is it Billo Rani! I thought I told you not to call me at this hour."

Tanveer (Billo Rani): "I know I just wanted to let you know that Zoya survived and that she didn't die from the fire that I set. All our plans went down that the drain because that stupid girl had woken up and started screaming or else she would have been dead by now with her mother and supposedly dead father!"

Raziya: It's okay Bill Rani we will soon finish her off. She won't live for that long her days are numbered. So what if we couldn't send her back to New York we both will most definitely send her to go visit her dearest ammi!" (Laughing in a evil way)

Tanveer: "Okay, Allah hafiz"

Tanveer hangs up the phone and smiles wickedly thinking of a new way to put an end to her life. Meanwhile Asad was in the room sitting on bed holding Zoya's hand and crying.

Asad: "Zoya please forgive me. I never meant to hurt you in this way I am sorry please forgive me. I just want you to get better quickly so I can see your beautiful smile, hear you laugh and see my chirpy bubble messy Zoya back. Please Zoya forgive me I promise that I will never hurt you again please just forgive me this one last time."

While Asad was confessing to Zoya, Dilshad was standing by the door and listening to her son express his true feelings for Zoya. There was a twinkle in Dilshad's eyes and a big smile lit her face up replacing the sadness with a new type of happiness that was about to emerge.

Dilshad: "So this is what the problem is how come I didn't see this coming before" (thought Dilshad to herself) I better talk to Najma about this and see what she has to say about this."

Dilshad quickly ran up into Najma's room and closed the door.

Dilshad: "Najma beta I have some wonderful and exciting news to tell you! But I also need your help beta"

Najma: "Ji ammi, tell me what the matter is."

With that Dilshad was just about to tell Najma what happened but her phone started ringing. She looked at the caller ID and her breath caught in her throat. She let out a little gasp and whispered, "Rashid."

Hey so that's chapter 2. i rushed it and wrote it really quickly since I am actually going to Oregon today so I wanted to update before i felt. I dont know if you guys liked the chapter since i rushed it and too me it feels like it turned out not so good but i dont know thats for you guys to decide. But please do comment and give me feedback about how it was. If i should continue or should i just turn it into a SS and wrap it up in a couple more chapters or leave it as a FF and continue. if that is the case let me know so i can contine with updates. Please comment and give me feedback it really helps me as a writer!
