Part 2
'Flight NY34659 go to gate 3' everyone heard. Bags packed and ready in his hand, Asad said his goodbyes to his family. Dilshad was happy. After Zoya departed for New York, she could tell her son had become a different person. He would rarely speak. He would always look at her door. Life without her even affected her son and she knew why - LOVE.
15 hours later, Asad was out of the airport and in the taxi. He passed the taxi driver an address and told him to drive there. He looked at his phone and on the background was a picture of Zoya and he whispered to himself 'I'm coming for you Zoya'

Zoya was getting ready for the biggest day of her life. All girls huddled around her making sure she looked perfect. She should be looking forward to this day, but why isn't she happy? She should be smiling, I mean after all it is her engagement today. Yet she can't stop thinking about Mr Khan. Her Mr Khan. She made a promise to her Aapi, once she was done in Bhopal, she will come back to New York and settle down with the guy her Aapi found for her. Back then, she didn't care less about it as she didn't even think about it. Then when living with her Phuphi, Tamatar and Mr Khan, her thoughts changed. Slowly without realising, she fell in love with the one she argued the most with. She put on a fake smile as her Aapi walked in. Aapi looked at her snd smiled.
'They are arriving!' Shouted Anwar from downstairs. Before Anwar could go and see to the guests that were fastly coming, the phone rang. He picked it up and it was Dilshad on the other side.
'Salaam Anwar. Sab Kaise hain? Asad wahaan ponch gaya kya?'
'Asad? Yahan? Abhi tak nahin aaya. Waise aajayega toh woh hamaare saath reh jayega. Zoya 5 dino mein jaayegi sasural ke ghar mein toh t..
'Kya? Zoya ki shaadi ho rahi hain?' Dilshad was shocked to hear this, she sent her son a the way to New York so he can show Anwar and Zeenat how much he wants to be with Zoya yet she's getting married to someone else?
'Nahin aaj toh sirf nikah hain par 4 ... Hello... Dilshad'
Dilshad cut the phone and dialled Asad's number.

Asad on the other hand was still in the taxi and couldn't hear himself think as there was dancing going on and he saw that people were wearing the indian traditional clothes and walking.
He saw his phone buzz and answered..
'Asad, tum kahan ho??' Dilshad was worried and didn't know how to tell her son that the love of his life was getting engaged to someone else.
'Ammi, I nearly have reached the house... Kuch ho raha hain yahaan' Asad could barely hear his Ammi speak as it was too loud.
'Meri baat to sun... Zoya ki ... Hello Asadd??'
'Ammi...Ammi? No signal.. Par what was Ammi saying about Zoya?'
Just then the taxi stopped and he saw that the people were entering the house. Something must be happening here today, he thought to himself.
Up in her room, Zoya could hear people entering her house. She got up and looked out the window. People wearing Sherwani's, churidars and other designer clothes. She saw a taxi and couldn't see who was in the taxi properly until the door opened to the taxi...
'Zoya' her Aapi was calling her so she we t to her Aapi's direction while through the window we see Asad entering the house.
Inside the house was decorated beautifully. His eyes searched for Zoya in the room yet she wasn't there.
His eyes fell on Anwar who was on his way to him.
'Asad, tumhari Ammi se baat hui thi, aur tum humaare saath rehjayega'
Asad looked at Anwar shen he mentioned his Ammi. Did his Ammi tell Anwar about him coming for Zoya?
'Acha theak hain. Waise Zoya kahan hain? Aur yahaan kya ho raha hai?''
Zoya was on her way from her room with her Aapi coming downstairs. She looked around the room. Strangers. All of them. Not one person did she know here. She saw her Jiju talking to a guy but couldn't see his face as he had his back towards her.
Anwar was about to tell Asad about Zoya's engagement when he saw both Zoya and Zeenat coming downstairs. Anwar without saying anything just walked away and towards their direction. Asad looked confused as everyone was staring so he turned his back slowly to see why they were staring and thats when he realised.

His heart broke. His Zoya was dressed in traditional attire. She was getting married. How could he be so blind? All the signs were there yet he didn't see them. Or he deeply didn't want to believe them. He just stared at Zoya. Tears falling down he turned away and slowly made his way to the door.

'Zoya, Asad came here to see you' Anwar told her. Her face brightened up. Asad?? Here. To see HER? She looked at the direction and saw a guy walking out.

'Mr Khan!' She shouted out het he didn't turn back. Tears falling down her cheek seeing Asad once again. She slowly started to run in that direction while others looked on. She ran towards her Mr Khan.

Asad could hear her calling his name. Yet he didn't stop. He kept walking. He couldn't think straight. He just walked and walked. When outside it started to rain. He looked up at the sky. His tears dissolving with the rain.

Zoya didn't care. She ran in the rain after him. The guests ran out behind her and her future fiance stood there shocked by what he saw. She was catching up to Asad. She grabbed him from behind and pulled him towards her.
Asad wasn't there. He felt dead after seeing her there about to be someone elses. Until Zoya touched him. He gained his senses. He felt all the emotions that he had kept the day she left.
She cried and cried in his arms. She said nothing. Just cried. Her tears said it all. Asad just held her and cried himself while guests watched on in shock to both holding on and crying.
OK how was it?? BTW this song is one of my favourites as well as Tu Jo Nahin and I seriously recommend you listen to it, it is just a heartbreaking song. And i haven't used all the song just parts
