First of all, what Rashid did was more to save his own skin than protecting his family. He feared jail. Razia wasn't an immediate danger to his family. She showed such colors quite later.

hi noe. I think the rashid we know is different from the real Rashid. Why did he get involved with Shireen in the first place? They haven't revealed this raaz yet. I think at some point his family/Dilshaad was threatened and he took a wrong step...and then just went into a downward spiral.

Asad - though he is gullible, easy to manipulate and Tanu is his blind spot - he is a lion when it comes to protecting his loved ones. He went against Rashid because he found him with a skeleton but more because he suspected that it was Rashid who tried to kill his mother. Tanveer wouldn't even dare to touch Zoya with Asad watching (yes, will do a lot behind his back), so her making a deal with him for Zoya's life seems highly improbable. Asad will protect her with his life.

yes, i agree Asad will protect zoya even if he has to give up her life but that's where the catch might be...he might realize that the only way he can save her is to force her to leave for NY

Regarding how Asad will ever understand why Rashid did what he did? Well, we ourselves don't know all the details - Why Rashid agreed to torch a factory? Why did he have a relationship and a child with another woman while being married to Dilshad? Why did he leave other woman, came back to Dilshad, had another child with her? We know the reason of his final desertion, but all other details are murky.

I believe what Rashid did was mistakes and errors of judgement and actions - of not taking correct decisions, not taking courageous decisions, not taking timely decisions, not rebelling against injustice.

I think Asad will never understand his father's actions, but will come to accept them with Zoya's help.

I felt same way about it after today's episode. Tanveer is here to stay for a while now but she might not strike a deal with Asad. She might play differently and scare Asad about Zoyas life and advice him to send Zoya back to USA for her own safety. Asad might have to be rude to Zoya to send her back to USA and propose Tanveer in front of her to hurt Zoya.
Zoya might take Ayans help to stay back and hence a fake marriage drama. I don't think Razia killing her mom would be out so soon. Not only that I don't think Zoya and Ayan are actually going to get married in a proper way too.

i think tanveer can never pose such a threat that asad will ask zoya to leave...on the contrary it will be bad for her only if she tells this to asad...he wud never agree to marry her after knowing this.
