Holi the Khan – khaandaan Ishtyle!
It was holi and everyone in the Khan mansion was busy with the preparations. Dilshad and Najma were all over the house to prepare for the festival of colours. The problems between both the Khan families was sorted out.
"Arrey bhaiya, yeh yahan nahi wahan lagaiye. Kya kar rahe ho aap?" Dilshad yelled at the servant.
"Ammi, where should I keep the colours?" Najma asked.
"Outside there's a table. Keep them there."
"Everything has to be perfect, Ayaan and his family will be here in an hour."
"Phuuppiii…….Naajjmmaaa…… HAPPY HOLI." Zoya hopped her way towards them and gave them a bone crushing group hug.
"Zoya beta, happy holi." Dilshad kissed Zoya's forehead.
"Happy holi Zoya." Najma replied in a chirpy voice.
"Oye hoye mera laal laal gol gol tamatar, itni khush lag rahi ho." Zoya grinned.
"Yes kyunki aaj holi hai." Najma squealed.
Everyone was very happy, ever since Rashid had left Dilshad they had not celebrated holi but now everything was alright again and Zoya had managed to bring both the families together.
"Happy holi ammi, happy holi Tamatar." Asad came from behind and gave his ammi a side hug.
The three women looked at his face and burst out laughing, Asad looked at them confused.
"What?" he asked.
"H-have you seen you fa-face?" Dilshad said in between her giggles.
"Why what happened." He asked confused.
Najma held her I Phone in front of him so that he could see his reflection. His face was smudged in laal gulaal and he looked like a cartoon. Seeing the shocked expression on his face Dilshad najma and Zoya broke into a new fit of laughter.
"HAPPY HOLI MR KHAN!" Zoya yelled.
"Ms Faaa-rooo-quiii! You did this." And he ran behind Zoya.
"Mr Khan…… aaj holi hai…… bura na mano holi hai." Zoya snorted.
She tried to run as fast as possible but, but, but Asad Ahmed khan se bachna mushkil hi nahi na mumkin hai.
Asad grabbed Zoya by her arms and dragged her to the kitchen, he removed a bottle of water from the fridge and emptied it on Zoya.
"Aaahhh…….. cold……cold…….cold." Zoya jumped around in the kitchen while Asad laughed at her.
"Uff, bus karo tum dono, you, go and change and you, wash your face. Yeh log aate hi honge." Dilshad told Zoya and Asad while laughing at their silly antics. These two will never change.

An hour later everyone had gathered in the backyard for the holi party. Dilshad and Shireen were chatting amongst themselves, Humaira, Nikhat and Nuzhat were running around throwing colours at each other, Raabert and Mona darling were pulling their makkhi urf Asad's leg. All other guests were also enjoying and singing and dancing.
Tanveer comes wearing a white salweer suit and wishes Asad, "Happy Holi jammy."
Ayaan and Zoya looked at each other and tried to control their laughter at the ridiculous name. Zoya winked at Ayaan and he gave her a thumbs up.
On getting the green signal Zoya shouted,
"JJAAMMMYYY!"startling Asad and Tanveer, Dilshad and Shireen also looked at her.
"TAAANNNUUU!" Ayaan screamed.
"Jammy!" Zoya fluttered her eyelashes at Ayaan.
"Tannu!" Ayaan bumped his shoulder with hers.
"Jammy chalo na boring shayaris likhte hai." Zoya said in a sugary sweet voice.
"Tannu chalo na Sudoku khelte hai, yeh holi toh baccho ke liye hoti hai hum jaise budhho ke liye nahi." Ayaan replied.
"Jammy chalo na crossword puzzle solve karte hai." Zoya grinned.
"Tannu chalo na Ring-a ring-a roses khelte hai." Ayaan took Zoya's hand and they started moving, more like skipping in a circle singing the silly old nursery rhyme.
"Ring-a, Ring-a Roses,
Pocket full of poses,
haishaa….haishaa,
WE ALL FALL………." Before Zoya could complete the sentence she tripped on her own two left feet and fell right into Asad's arms. They shared a deep…. Yep you guessed it right…. Eye sex… until they were interrupted by a throat clearing, they looked up to see it was Ayaan.
"Mona Darling, aapne yeh song change kar diya? 'we all fall down' ki jagah 'we all fall in bhaijaan's arms'?" he laughed at Asad's embarrassed face.
"Tum dono pagal ho." Dilshad snorted at Zoya and Ayaan's childish acts.
"Ammi….. did you just snort?" Asad asked.
"Yeah so? These two are hilarious." She continued laughing at the jammy-tannu mimicry, even she didn't like the name jammy, someone would think her son is gay or something.
Tannu huffed and went to stand in a corner, she was not interested in playing holi, what if someone pours water on her and her lenses fall then HOLI will become HALLOWEEN for everyone.
"Oh ho deviji toh naraaz ho gayi." Ayaan chuckled.

Ayaan and Zoya were throwing colours at each other, Dilshad looked at them and said,
"They look so cute together."
Asad narrowed his eyes and said immediately,
"Bilkul cute nahi lagte, pagal lagte hai. If they remain in the same house then only Allah can save the family members from them."
"Arrey, why are you getting angry?" She asked. Asad simply shrugged and looked away.
Zoya saw Asad, she asked Ayaan to follow her. she went and stood in front of Asad and said,
"Mr khan, do you know who is he?" she pointed at Ayaan.
Asad raised his eyebrow and said," Of course I do, that's Ayaan, my brother."
Zoya started laughing and said, "Nooo…….. he is not Ayaan….. he is Raabert."
Asad's expression changed from shock to happiness.
"You mean HE his Raabert? But you said that he is your childhood……. Ms Faaa-rooo-qquuiii!" he started chasing Zoya.
Asad snaked his arm around Zoya's waist and pulled her close, she was still breathless with all the running. Asad took a handful of gulaal from the plate nearby him and coloured her face with it, he then took a bucketful of colour water and poured it on Zoya.
"Mr khan…. This is not over." She warned him and stomped away.
Ayaan came and stood beside Asad, he asked him,
"Bhaijaan, yaha corner main aap mona darling ke saath, chupke chupke kya kar rahe the?" he wriggled his eyebrows.
"Oye, who teri mona darling nahi hai!"
"Accha? Toh kya aapki Zoya darling hai?" he teased him and ran away.
"Abe ruk!" Asad ran behind him.

Humaira and Nikhat were playing with the colours. Ayaan walked towards Humaira with colour in both his hands. Humaira's back was facing Ayaan, he motioned Nikhat to remain silent, just when Humaira was about to turn Ayaan smudged the colour on her face and hair.
"UGGHHH! AAA-YAAA-NNN!" she shouted.
"HAPPY HOLI HUMAIRA BEGUM!" he spread his arms wide and stepped forward to take her in for a bear hug.
Humaira ducked away and took some yellow colour and applied it lovingly on his face.
"Oh ho Humaira begum, itne pyaar se rang lagao gi toh hum toh behosh ho jayenge." He flirted.
"Ayaan….. aap bhi na." she blushed.

Zoya was standing alone when Nuzhat came and applied colour on her face but accidently some colour went in her eyes. She rubbed her eyes furiously in order to get the colour out.
"Ouch!" she shrieked. Asad saw Nuzhat's apologetic face and zoya rubbing her eyes. He immediately went to her, cupped her face and asked in a concerned voice,
"Zoya? Are you alright?"
"Allah Miyan, do I look alright?" she continued to rub her eyes.
"Keep doing that and your eyes will come out in your hands." He rolled his eyes, removed his handkerchief from his pocket and cleaned her face.
Tanveer saw them together and started burning in jealousy. She took some colour and purposely threw it in her eyes.
"Aaah…. Ouch… colour went in my eyes…. It's paining a lot." She acted.
But Asad didn't even bother looking at her. He gently blew in Zoya's eyes to ease the burning sensation.
"Mohtarma aap kahe toh hum aapki help karde?" Ayaan asked and took a step closer.
"Eee….. dur raho mujhse you chidiya ka ghosla." She stomped her foot and went inside the house.
When Asad was certain that Zoya was alright he said,
"Bohot khel li holi now go inside the house, no more colour for you."
Zoya pouted then smirked, unknown to Asad, Zoya had some colour in her right hand. She lifted her hand and smeared the colour on his face. She giggled and turned to run but Asad had held her arm, he made her turn around to face him. They looked deep into each other's eyes, they could see their reflection in their eyes. Asad also smeared red gulaal on Zoya's face and said,
"Happy Holi Ms Farooqui!" he gave her, his famous lop-sided grin, the grin that made Zoya go weak on her knees.
Zoya blushed and thanked god for the colour on her face so that Asad couldn't see her blush but Asad knew his Ms New York well and he knew that she was blushing right now, he was glad that he had such an effect on her…. only he had that effect and no one else…. Not even that Raabert.
Zoya flashed her jaan lewa dimples and whispered, "Happy Holi Mr Khan."
