Youth Shows in India, when did it REALLY start??

Hey everyone!...I have been wondering for a very long time now, as you must have gathered from my post title, WHEN DID IT REALLY START??

like for me, the era of youth shows started with DMG!! ❤️...GOSH! every person on IF would knw wat this show did for KSG, Shilpa Anand,Dhrashti Dhami...and of course! The Audience!...

This show that started wayyy back in 2007, almost 6 years ago had such a HUGEEE! pankha following, or rather still has! I mean u wud know wat i mean by HUGE wen i say that IPKKND's popularity is nothing in front of DMG's popularity and pankha following!!

But even before DMG shows like Left Right Left , Remix and Jersey No. 10 existed...

whenever me n my friends talk about our fav shows, at one point our conversation always leads to Star One and our addiction with the shows that aired on it...be it DMG or MJHT...so for me Star One literally started the era and DMG is the KING of youth shows in INDIA...seriously coz i remember i accidently switched to StarOne one day and saw this particular epi of DMG with KSG taking revenge on ridhima by entering her room and scaring her, i still remember she was wearing a deep maroon night gown...and that was IT! i was sooo hooked to the show! well a MAJOR thanks goes to KSG and his angelic eyes and BEAUTIFUL looks! I'll admit i never really religiously followed DMG or rather i cudnt due to a lot of factors...But even when IPKKND came and i went all GAGA over it...i cudnt replace it with DMG in my heart...

Well thats my POV about Youth shows and the 21st century gen of India...Wat about u people??

for me it was remix and hip hip hurray .. which had teens as lead characters and had young themes associated 😊

Actually youth shows started a long long time ago on Sony, Zee and Star plus. Star one came with these youth shows again later but in my opinion the true youth shows were the original ones like Hip Hip Hurray which was very true to the real youth and there are many others.

I felt Left right left was the last youth show that actually touched me after that, Today's youth shows truly do not represent the youth much. That's why I cant watch them with the same interest as others because I can never connect to the characters, They all seem to have no other problems in life other than love problems or dancing or singing or some silly problem.
I doubt people my age are worried about only such things.

And oh! Dont even get me started on how they all pass the exams with flying colors WITHOUT ever once studying properly!
They spend their time dancing and singing and romancing and yet they top their class! 🤢
Whereas I am staying up 24/7 to study for my exams!

Edit: How could I forget, Remix! I miss that show!

Well, exactly, thats ur POV, and u cant just 'declare' or 'claim' IPKKND to b d best, even i love IPK a lot, people have their own POVs u knw...

I dont know if IPK is the best or not, and this post sooo not about that, its about which show is the start of youth shows for different people...

Btw you might wanna edit out that bit comparing to IPK, it might start another fight again.
There are a lot of IPK fans here and they might not like being told their show is not that popular.
Just telling you because I dont want to see this topic get closed.
