Youth Shows in India, when did it REALLY start?? - Page 2

my first youth show is dil dosti dance.my fav.but now i dont watch it because now my fav couple rey kiya are not there .so after their sepration i dont watch it.but d3 with kriyaansh is still my fav and it will be forever.i wrote alot😆.i know this is qh forum and i wrote so much about d3 but my feelings can understand only kiyaansh fans who are here.

Actually youth shows started a long long time ago on Sony, Zee and Star plus. Star one came with these youth shows again later but in my opinion the true youth shows were the original ones like Hip Hip Hurray which was very true to the real youth and there are many others.

I felt Left right left was the last youth show that actually touched me after that, Today's youth shows truly do not represent the youth much. That's why I cant watch them with the same interest as others because I can never connect to the characters, They all seem to have no other problems in life other than love problems or dancing or singing or some silly problem.
I doubt people my age are worried about only such things.

And oh! Dont even get me started on how they all pass the exams with flying colors WITHOUT ever once studying properly!
They spend their time dancing and singing and romancing and yet they top their class! 🤢
Whereas I am staying up 24/7 to study for my exams!


Edit: How could I forget, Remix! I miss that show!

Dil mil gaye was not the first youth based show!! Doesn't anyone remember kyun hota hai pyar or yeh Meri life hai!?

I would say youth shows started off with Remix which was one of the first shows on Star One but DMG made the value of youth shows rise so much that the popularity of youth shows started with DMG

Dmg has been officially the best ever youth show. Me, being a boy, got addictd to dmg and ksg the best and now Qubool hai

you should have posted this on DMG forum as we're allowed only QH here;

though i had my problems with DMG,which are a lot that even now i didnt watched the last episode,but i can always say that DMG is one of the first shows which actually made me a watch a show,its not only my first youth show but my first hindi tv show,and i didnt even watched from the start,i watched it around the baarish basket ball times,the popularity it gained when the social media is not the way it is now is commendable,frankly DMG brought a group of ardent fanatics together who mailed mailed requesting the only tv news show SBS for the segments on the show,DMG forum is one of the first most active forums in I-F,well even though there are some good shows before DMG,i can safely say social media craze is started by this show,it is one of those shows where every thing just clicked and it stayed that way for a while,even though i liked MJHT a lot which is a show i followed from start to end some how it cant replace DMG,i liked many shows like KMH,GEET,IPKKND but i still feel sort of soft corner towards DMG,i loved it sooo much that i hated cvs for spoiling it countless times
anyways QH is a family drama which i am totally loving coz every one is doing awesome job
