Part I: Page 1.

Dilshad and Zoya could not stop their tears from flowing. Adding to emmotional re-union was Tamatar, who had come running on seeing Zoya. More tears flowed. Two stunned expressions added to the scene. Zainab, the more mature and sensitive of the twins called out Ammi. Zoya glanced at her with tears and laughter. Dilshad and Tamatar also looked at the twins. Dilshad took one look at Zainab and she was shocked beyond words. Zainab was a carbon copy of Asad. How was this possible? Was not Zainab and Armaan, Ayaan and Zoya's kids? But she set the doubts aside (for now) as Zoya introduced them to Dilshad and Tamatar. Zoya asked them to address Dilshad as Dadi and Tamatar as Tamatar:). Zainab greeted Dilshad and Tamatar in a typical way that is Aslam Wale Kum whilst Armaan greeted them as Hi Granny. When Dilsahd hugged the twins, she felt a deep sense of happiness and joy. She knew there was more to Zoya-Asad story and she was going to get it out of Ayaan. There was NO way that Zainab and Armaan were Ayaan's kids. Zoya looked at her Phupi and felt guilty for keeping her grand kids away from her. But when watched Dilshad hug her grand kids, she knew that she had use this chance to make up for lost time. Zoya had denied her kids a maternal grand ma, but she was not going to deny them the paternal grand ma's love. Zoya decided that she would do her best to get the kids to spend time with Dilshad and Tamatar. Dilshad invited Zoya home. She saw Zoya hesitate and she immediately mitigated her fear by saying that Asad was not in Bhopal. Zoya felt relaxed and agreed. Zoya told the kids that when she visited India for the first time, she had stayed with Dadi.

In the Khan household:

The house was in a mess as Armaan made himself at home. He was playing with Tamatar and was a handful. Zainab observed the home and kept reprimanding her brother over his tardiness. Zoya and Dilshad were in the kitchen preparing dinner as Dilshad had insisted that they have dinner. The Khan household had come to life after sooo long. Zoya's poems, Armaan's restlessness and Zainab's laughter was sheer magic. Dilshad felt so good. It was at this point, Dilshad realized that Zoya for all her modern outlooks and perspective was traditional at heart. Zoya had respected and loved her as her own mother, brought love and laughter into their home and had tried to mend broken relations with hilarious outcomes. She had not put on an act unlike Tanveer. She was as is. More important, Zoya was selfless...when she loved, she loved with her heart with no malice or greed. Her love like her was pure and innocent. and MOST IMPORTANT she was an amazing mother. Zainab and Armaan were a handful and bringing them on her own required courage and determination. Dilshad like others had read Zoya wrong. Zoya is Asad's extreme but now she wished that Zoya and Asad would get together as they were perfect. She also realized that Zoya Farrouki was the only one who could make Asad believe in love, friendship and relationships again. He had smiled so often when she was around. When Asad divorced Tanveer, she had broken his frienship and most important his trust. Could Zoya help him regain trust in humans again? Dilshad realized that she had missed something then and made a promise to Allah and self that she would find out the truth and bring Asad and Zoya together.

Next day:

Dilshad called up Ayaan. Ayaan was surprised to hear from his Badi Ammi. She wanted to meet him but she did not mention the reason/s. Their meeting point was an hour from the city. Ayaan was stunned but agreed. When he met Dilshad, he hugged and she hugged him back. He felt so good to hug his Badi Ammi. She had so much love to give. Dilshad enquired about the family and Humeira. and then she came to the point. She made Ayaan promise on his unborn child that he would say nothing but the truth. Ayaan promised but regretted a few seconds later as he was asked about the Asad-Zoya relationship. He had no choice and spilled the beans. He told her that he and Zoya had married out of pressure from both ends. Ayaan married as he wanted to escape Razia Begum and save his family from her torture and Zoya as she wanted to be close to her father. But more important she was pregnant and Asad had chosen Tanveer over her. Zoya was heartbroken and stopped believing in love.

Hence they married but never consumated the marriage albeit people think otherwise. Ayaan also revealed that Zainab and Armaan were Asad and Zoya's kids. They had been in love and Zoya still loved him but could not confess owing to ego issues, misunderstandings and stubborness. Ayaan shared with Dilshad that at that point Zoya would have given up everything for Asad including her Abbu as she was so in love but when Asad chose head over heart, she was broken and felt she needed to be close to her father. Little did she realize or know that Razia would make her life hell. When Zoya could not take it anymore, she made a decision and returned to New York. Ayaan and Zoya had never loved each other and their marriage made him realize his feelings for Humeira. Ayaan also shared his concern that Razia would not stop from hurting Zoya and the kids as she still viewed them as threat but as her husband that is Zoya's father had warned her with dire consequences if Zoya or the kids were hurt. Dilshad was shocked. She told Ayaan not to mention the meeting to anyone including Humeira. Ayaan agreed and told his Badi Ammi that he would help her to get Asad and Zoya back as they were meant to be.

In the evening:

Zoya had left the kids at the Khan household as she and Tamatar headed for shopping and movie. Dilshad was spoiling her grand kids and enjoying it to the hilt. Armaan was a monster and had created a mess. He was drinking his coke and running around. At this point, he banged into some one, spilled the coke on the person when he heard the person whisper "Ms. Farroukhi". Armaan looked at the man and wondered the reason the man whispered his mom's name. Asad Ahmed Khan looked at the little monster who had taken him into the past. They stared at one another.
