Part III: The meet

Asad and Armaan stared at one another. Asad asked "aap ki tareef". Armaan stunned, "tareef, whats that?" Asad amazed at the child repeated his question in English, "Who are you?" Armaan, "Who am I.. I am a kid, Mister". Asad sighed and repeated his question again: "Mister Kid, do you have a name?" Armaan replied "Yeah!! But I am not going to tell ya as my mom has asked me not to talk to strangers". Asad smiled. THIS CHILD REMINDED HIM SO MUCH OF ZOYA. At this moment, Zainab came rushing into the room and reprimanded her brother. She looked at Asad and apologized.

One look at Zainab and he felt a pain in his heart. Why did the children make him a skip a beat in his heart? Why did the young girl remind him of him? And why did the monster remind him of Ms. Farrouki. Zainab introduced herself and her brother. She apologized for Armaan again. Armaan told his sister" "Zain, it aint my fault. He banged into me and why are you introducing us to strangers? Did Mom not to tell you to be wary of strangers?". Zainab was embarrassed.

Dilshad came rushing out of the kitchen on hearing the commotion. She was surprised to see Asad. He was not supposed to return until tomorrow but here he was. Asad greeted his Ammi and enquired about the kids. Dilshad introduced them as a friend's grand-children. Asad nodded and excused himself to freshen up and rest. Zainab and Armaan asked Dilshad about Asad. Dilshad mentioned that Asad was her son. Armaan said aloud "Grand Ma, he reminds me of the Hulk". Dilshad laughed and realized that she had to catch up on cartoon characters.

Zainab was reading quietly while Armaan was bored. He decided to take a look around the house…it was huge. After walking for a bit, he needed to use the rest room. He did not or chose not to ask Dadi and walked into the nearest rest room. The naughty boy saw the bath tub and decided to play with water. When Asad walked in to take a shower, he saw that the monster had not only messed up his rest room but also was drenched. Asad sighed and called out to his Ammi. Armaan had a mischievous look on his face and threw some water on Asad. Asad was stunned. But instead of getting irritated, he chose play and threw water back on Armaan.

When Dilshad and Zainab walked in, they saw Asad and Armaan in the bath tub water fighting. Zainab giggled and joined in. She supported her brother as she held Asad's hands so that Armaan could drench him completely. Asad took one look at Zainab and felt a familiar pain. What was it about this girl that brought him happiness? Dilshad was taking it all in but deep down she felt a slight fear. How would Asad react on seeing Zoya? How would Zoya react on seeing Asad? And what would Asad do when he found out the truth about Zoya and Ayaan and Zainab and Armaan? How was she to manage this? Dilshad decided to fight it as it came. For now, she was enjoying her grand kids playing with their Abbu.

At that moment the door-bell rang. Dilshad rushed to answer it. She was shocked to see Zoya and Tamatar. They had returned early as they wanted to watch a movie at home with the kids. Zoya asked about the kids and before Dilshad could respond; Zoya, heard their giggles coming out from Asad's room. Zoya panicked as she knew that Mr. Khan would not like his room to be cluttered. She ran into the room to clean up when she heard laughter from the rest room. She tip toed to the rest room and

BEHOLD! A sight was for sore eyes…hers. She saw Mr. Khan drenched in a white shirt and pants in the bath tub playing and smiling with Zainab and Armaan. When he saw Zoya, Armaan squealed in delight and said "MOM" whilst Zainab laughed and said "Ammi, watch out". Asad turned and said Ms. Farroukhi. In turn a stunned Zoya said Mr. Khan. At that moment, the universe had stopped for Asad Ahmed Khan and Zoya Farroukhi as they took in each other with passion and love.
