I never have expectations from ME s.
They're always rushed and half baked. My problem isn't today's episode but the entire track and where we seem to be heading.
I should probably mention what I liked first. The Asad and Zoya moments were of course cute as a button and I can feel Asad's slow love for Zoya and Zoya's childlike demand for Asad's attention.
The way she wants him to remember and her gleeful expressions when she finds out that he does remember were absolutely adorable. And Karan and Surbhi were excellent.
Yep this is where the positives stop. I know I usually just focus on Asad/Zoya and forget the rest but seeing as the CVs are bringing together all characters and linking them in So many ways, it's only fair that I review those bits as well.
Badi bi/Razia scenes I'm not sure if they are comedy or drama or horror. Whatever it is, they are disgusting.
It's so hard to sit through them.
Are so many graphic torture sequences really necessary? How many more are we going to have to sit through? They leave such a bitter taste.
I'm glad badib is fighting back and showing her wits etc but the visuals are God awful.
Tone down the violence.
Humeira-Ayaan. Why are we having everything at the same time? As if all this drama isn't enough we have Tannu and what's his face illegitimate relationship.
Tannu- I guess the CVs are trying to invoke pity? And yes, who ever the actress is she did the humiliated scenes fairly well.
But then you throw in a twist like Billo Raja is actually going to get married to Nikhth.
And what kind of a d*bag abandons his kid?
Gaffur part 2 eh?
And they're showing it like Tannu is the bad person because she slept with him. Excuse me, was he asleep when the baby was made?
She took the next step so he doesn't have anything to with the baby.
What a disgusting dialogue.
Who writes these dialogues? So regressive.
If Tannu didn't plan to marry Asad for money/kill people I would totally be supporting her.
Coming to Asad/Zoya. While Karan and Surbhi were very good, the editor was unfortunately extremely out of key.
Horrendously bad editing.
Even the AsYa scene was poorly edited. Is Asad like Edward Cullen? One second he's inside the room and the next he randomly catches her. There was something just not right with that scene.
And the jumping around. Oh God it gave me such a head ache. One second Ayaan/humeira the next Tannu/what's his face and the next Razia/Badib and the next AsYa.
Too much drama and not enough time to do them justice.
Word of caution Gul, this web that you're weaving let's hope you don't get caught.
Yes it's a bit of a harsh review but it's been building for a while now.
Drama is good but never too much of it.
