Thanks for the PM Bheegi, I love reading your posts...not too much into symbolism...but I love some elements...here is what I posted on another post just now...
After watching today's (full episode including Badi B and Raziya's conversation)...I was reminded of Asad's torment at finding out that his father killed someone and was could try to kill his mother . His worst fears have come true BUT for Zoya...It's Zoya's father who killed her mom...and didn't even give her a burial...the hopeful, naive Zoya has to accept what was destined for her...
and for some reason...
Asad's dialogue " Koi inhe bhi yaad karke rota hoga" when they find the remains in the factory...screams out to me today...
wished I could elaborate more...but I love the character of zoya...she is such a sweetheart...why do parents disown their children...Why?
.- the next few lines are in response to your post only-since you are so forgiving in your thoughts...
I am not-
Siddique (and his like) have never been born with the courage to man up for their actions. They usually wallow with their own filthy kind and amongst the ignorance of many to pretend to be honorable.
Yes Zoya has led a life of hope , and endless wait to meet her father...I hope that "tadap" doesn't give way to "nafrat"...but I hope she doesn't forgive either...hope she has the courage to say she doesn't want a man as her father...who didn'tlook back once, a man who murdered her mother and didn't shed a tear... didn't find it in him the humanity to give the woman he fathered a child with even a burial...?
