Well, as i think more about Asad (now, why am i thinking about Asad when i am supposed to work - too bad) this is what i draw -

More than the attraction or lover equation, Asad acts more like a father figure to Zoya - A very strict father - who wants teach the kid Tahzeeb, Tameez etc etc, in a harsh, rude manner. He had that instict with Zoya from the beginning and it grew as he learnt zoya being a parent-less child.

This nature in him was developed as he himself grew up father-less, taking more responsibility than he should for his age. He does it with everybody around him that he feels close to heart (Najma, for example).

Now he thinks of Zoya as the hyperactive kid, who needs to be put in control, who will otherwise cause lot of trouble and chaos around. And when Tanveer came into picture, he cannot stop comparing Zoya to Tanveer ( (I know it is a big no-no for parents, but almost every parent goes through this phase) . Tanveer has all the qualities he thinks are appropriate, that Zoya (his favorite) lacks. And being the strict parent, it is pricking him every second, he sees both of them in sight, he cannot help being extra rude to Zoya in the context of teaching her manners and good behaviour.

We have to remember that Asad has not remembered their night after eating bhang-pakoda, so right now, he is too involved in his parenting role (which he will continue even when they have confessed their feelings, engaged, married and even have kids of their own).

I'll be honest with you I don't really think its love yet (hopefully it will be later) its just a mere attraction he had. I really don't feel like he loves Zoya because he criticize her for everything, but did he ever hear what she had to say... I don't really remember and please correct me if i'm wrong. (my hindi and english is not that great) When he does say mean things, Zoya has the heart to forgive him and look beyond that. He has to realize that life is not what you really plan or want it to be. Its more or less than a person had envisioned. Zoya may not be mature, responsible, or whatever like his friend but that's what make her Zoya. he can't just push her to the side or use her as a toy when he is furstated with everyone. She's a human being with feelings, emotion and desire. I was really taken back when they both had bhanng pakodas and he said how would you know about parents love or something, you don't have them. That was really mean, rude, selfish, just really upsetting to me. I affected me so much as a viewer, imagine our Zoya.

And if he follows the traditional ways, respect women and all the stuff he says then why didn't he know to keep his limit with slapping Zoya, insulting her, hugging his friend, rubbing her foot. There are boundaries when you reach a certain age. I don't know if I just feel bad for Zoya or what, but I'm really not liking Mr. Khan now.

I would like to see a small track of Zoya and Ayaan I think they complement each other well. I'm not saying they should be together, just only as friends. I think Ayaan would be a stronger support pillar for Zoya than Mr. Khan and hopefully Mr. Khan will learn or even realize.

Please i'm free for all comments, I just want to see what other people would think about it and what they feel too.

You know, after what transpired with the bhaang incident, I really believed that he loved her at some subconscious level, but going by what I saw/read these past few days, I really can't say this anymore.

Ugh, I'm really disgusted by what is going on right now. And after reading what Asad said about Zoya not deserving to live with any family. I mean, who says such hurtful things after knowing what he knows, about Zoya's past. Does he even listen to himself?

It's shocking that a person with so much 'tehzeeb' and what not doesn't think twice before uttering such horrible things. He needs a reality check soon.

I really liked Asad from before. I did not agree with how he did things, esp when it comes to Zoya, but now, I just can't stand him. The Cv's are butchering his character imo. They need to stop this cr*p now.

Now he just comes across as being a jerk with some serious anger issues.

Zoya doesn't deserve this at all and unless something is done soon (ie Asad seriously changing his ways and making it up to Zoya bigtime), I may not want them to be together in the future. And trust me, it hurts to even type such a thing, because recently I became so obsessed with wanting them together or even having them in good terms. That doesn't mean that I want Ayaan-Zoya romantically because I can only see them as good friends.

All I want is for Asad and Zoya to be on good terms. If the Cv's don't want them together as yet, then it's fine, but please please have them on good terms. I hate all these instances where so much misunderstandings keep happening one after the other. It's frustrating as a viewer. I want to see Asad struggling with his 'love' or 'attraction' or whatever it is that he feels for Zoya, instead of just getting angry all the time, at anything she does. It almost feels like he wants to hate her😭

At the end of the day, I really feel that Asad has a very long way to go before he reaches the stage of loving and respecting Zoya.

I want a long redemption track for Asad as well, because some of the things he has done, cannot be forgiven so easily.

Sorry if I kept rambling off, just had to get this off my chest.
