She's born Indian so no problem of an Indian VISA and if she's lived in the US for so long then she has citizenship there as well. Technically she shouldn't have VISA problem anywhere.

Our indian constitution don't approve dual citizenship.
When you accept another country's citizenship than you have to leave indian citizenship.
You should also know usa also don't approve dual citizenship.
Whenever a person gets us citizenship he/she has to take a oath and declare that he/she has no loyality to another country except usa.

But indian origion people who later accept citizenship of another country can claim for people of indian origion certificate from indian ambessy which is called pio card.
A pio card holder don't need any visa to come and stay in india.

Zoya should apply for people of indian origon certificate

i sent your idea to the CV - let us see what they say😉

to get OCI card... Either one of the parents must be qualified for it first ... In that case how can she produce documents of her parents without even know who they are... But as an individual born in India... Someone(asad) could sponsor her to get PIO again she needs proof of documents... N their case Asad could easily sponsor her n get a work permit ... But for OCI nPIO cards the decision is entirely depend upon the Indian embassy... N not anyone else...

Indian counslate does allow dual citizenship for USA, my masi who lives in USA and has a US passport is also an overseas citizen of india (OCI) which is a dual citizenship.

An OCI isn't exactly dual citizenship I believe but it with it she wouldn't need an Indian visa. PIO card offers less privileges than being an OCI but again no need for a visa.

I reallly do not want to see a visa marriage. She has the option of going back and returning or like someone said getting a work permit etc. Imagine Asad missing Zoya while she is away- that'll be a treat to watch, though it'll be difficult to continue the show for more than a few episodes without Zoya in story- they could also show him reluctantly get engaged to Tannu in the meanwhile!

I am a USA Citizen, Born in INDIA, and I hold an OCI card. With an OCI card I don't need VISAs to come to INDIA and I can stay there for as long as i want. I can do anything in INDIA except I can't cast a vote. I can only vote for US's elections.

OCI's doesn't mean Dual Citizenship. I don't think any country allows dual citizenship. I think Dual citizenship is only possible if you were to born in a flight. Then you would get a citizenship of the countries that flight took off and lands in.

OCI is possible if you are born in INDIA and then got you citizenship of USA. If you are born in USA but your parents or grandparents upto 4th generations are from INDIA then you can get POI (Person of Indian Origin) card.

POI card expires and needs to be reapplied. Where else, OCI card never ever expires.

I wish Zoya's birthplace is INDIA, and Asad finds all the information for OCI card and helps Zoya to get it.
