The Reason behind Asad leaving!

Hey Guys,

We all saw that Asad left when Zoya finished telling him about her past and when she looked back and did not see him standing there, she thought he was insensitive and was hurt that her life and her pain was of no importance to him. She thought he did not care that he was the only person in the world whom she shared her secret with..

Well, heres the reason. And i am sure you guys would agree..

Asad could not control his feelings when Zoya told him about her past. He was getting emotional, he wasn't able to stop his tears and Asad is not the kind of guy who would cry or show too much emotion infront of anyone. He left because his emotions were too powerful at that time and he feared that he would not be able to control them and he did not want to cry or show pity to Zoya.. So he just left..

What do you guys think!!?

Oh. I was thinking that he left because she was taking a stab at the whole idea of him understanding her story because he grew up without a father as well since his father is a touchy subject that they both don't agree on. Kinda like saying she wishes she knew her father and that he was with her, whereas Asad is sending his father away.

And I had thought that Asad was actually emotional, it looked like he wiped his eyes when Zoya was like she didn't know if her dad would accept her. But I'm not sure.

But your idea is pretty interesting. Because Zoya did end up calling him emotionally challenged. So she probably feels the same way, that he couldn't handle her emotional story so he just left.

It was not just his feelings here but lot of guilt too, he realized his attitude towrads her..

Sometimes someone makes you so small and shallow by just being themselves, she lives so life so full with so many sorrows. How really one can react specially one like Asad?? It will take him time to make himself stand next to her again the same way...

He reached out for her...if he stayed longer he would've not only cried...he might end up hugging her, let his guard down...who knows what he would've done...like the way he kissed her when he thought she was dead..

I think he left because he is deeply emotionally attached to her ..more than before...bcos of their similarities in history ( no father)... And he is beginning to realize that and doesn't want to face it.. ( similar to when ASR learnt about Khushi's past at the party and said sorry).

This is how they become soulmate...not just a love interest...and he wants to deny that...

I agree with you ...

He doesn't want anyone to see his weak side ... And when Zoya was telling him about her life ... He couldn't hold his tears ... So maybe he walked away ...

Asad felt a myriad of emotions at that given moment.He felt her pain translate into his own.Her past and his past went side by side and the realization hits him that he maybe in a better place then she will ever be.Ashamed of how he had treated her so could not face her or look her inthe eye...the remorse had started eating away at him and there was noway he could let Zoya see him break to see the emotional side to this emotionally challenged man.
