sIMPLY BECOZ HE DOESNT WANT zoya to see his emotional side and another reason is he couldnot control him if he would have stayed there for long

I think he left because of mixed feelings ...of guilt plus the hurt and grief on her account and he didnt want to pity her ...I think Asad will never let Zoya feel weak or as someone worth being pitied upon specially after how shhe told him that how ppl around him draw their strength from him ...so i think he purposely never wanted to show that weakness so that she doesnt feel that way ...plus Asad may have his views on women and their place in this world but when it comes to Zo I think he will always love to see her as the way she is ...not really fitting in his perfect description but yet someone who can feel proud of 😳

I think he left because he is deeply emotionally attached to her ..more than before...bcos of their similarities in history ( no father)... And he is beginning to realize that and doesn't want to face it.. ( similar to when ASR learnt about Khushi's past at the party and said sorry).

This is how they become soulmate...not just a love interest...and he wants to deny that...
