She can represent Rashid if she is a lawyer and has license to practice. Exception for representing one without being a lawyer is you have to be the accused yourself. So, Rashid can represent himself even when he is not a lawyer, I don't think anyone else can unless they have a law degree.

Unless Indian judicial system changed in the past decade, what I said is true.

I DK...Dilshaad was on jury...any respectable individual with some years of social influence and an upstanding member of community can become a jury member...but to be defense lawyer requires degree and practice...but then this is fiction world anything is possible...it will be highly ridiculous if she became his lawyer and if the qh doesnt show she has law degree

But is Dilshad a lawyer? I don't think so. So I don't think she can become Rashid's lawyer. But to be a jury member, it is not necessary to be a lawyer.
