I would be very disappointed to see this thread closed because our views are not acceptable. This is a proper post, no ugliness intended and would hate to see people coming here and getting ugly with us and then forcing the thread to be closed. We are not cyber bullying anyone or forcing them to accept our views, I hope others can give us the same respect. i have seen an ugly post opened today that openly taunts us and the moderator has done nothing about it but I have to learn this post is now under the radar to be closed😕

Dilshad's biggest USP is her being a mother, a SINGLE mother who bravely and with dignity brought up her two children, who has become like a de-facto mother to Zoya... Making her do something so wrong and selfish like this just goes against her character, and that too, for the most least-deserving of men!

SHE IS A MOTHER FIRST AND A WIFE AFTER. Let the latter not take precedence over the former and render unrecognisable her character.

& you dont choke a woman no matter how nasty she is- not if you are the good guy! & you don't slap your grown son (specially) in front of others in the room not a son who has dedicated his life to you.

Now if he's breaking furniture we should let that be- even I throw a vase or two when i cant vent my frustration and anger at anything else 😵
that's drama & Indian drama at that ☢️ there has to be some way the lead shows his manly *Biceps contracted Salman khan pose* anger 😡

I love you VFT.❤️ You are just wonderful

hi shazie...sorry took a while to answer...i completely understand that Dilshad has gone through a lot and has being a strong and loving mother but I felt today was the day she should have been there for Asad. I just cannot fathom the fact that how she is failing to see the turmoil Asad is in and the fact that Rashid is unable to give them a straight forward and proper answer. Rashid might be her husband but Asad is her son and she definitely as a responsibility towards her children. I could have still accepted h support for Rashid if he would have come clean but this man is still mum...it's a shame that Rashid still doesn't understand that he has lost everything in the process of masking his sins. When will this man come clean?

i wish dilshad wud get out of her rashid bubble bc in her attempt to be loyal to a disloyal and cowardly rashid, she will end up losing her loyal and loving son who has always done everything to try and give his family the best.

same here...I really didn't find it logical for her to lash out in this way knowing all the way how Asad feels for his dad...and more so...Asad did give Rashid a chance to explain and come clean...but he still kept quiet...Dilshad should have known that this will completely push Asad to the destruction mode.

It is in mother;s nauture, her natural basic instinct is to protect her children from come what may!Dilshad's outburst was totally uncalled for!She should have empathised with her son's angst, pain and heart break too as she is well aware of the sorrow and trauma her so called love has caused them for all these years without a word of explanation. She being the mature sensible one could have just resorted to explanation to lift that weight of her son's heartHer jumping the gun to Rashid has really raised question marks on her character sketch for now!🤢

Amazing post dear...
The way you have praised Dilshad is soo beautiful.

Well I am not happy with Dilshad today but her reaction was quite expected and 50% justified too.
All the emotional turmoil through which Dilshad has gone in less than 24 hours can make any sane person lose control over himself/herself for a while.
It must have been really a horrible scene to see her own son pointing the gun at her husband and even shooting it even if the shot was deliberately missed coz of the swear she gave to her son.
Dilshad was already disturbed and then Ayaan's phone must have made her really worried. She already knows and believes that Rashid is not guilty. So when all this was happening and her own son tells her that he has send his abbu to jail, a slap or an outburst is much expected. Both Dilshad and Asad are people of few words,so the slap didn't surprise me much eventhough I was not happy and totally justified with it.
I wonder if Dilshad ever slapped Rashid for betraying her trust..I wish mommy had shown more trust on her son than her unfaithful thali ka baigan hubby.

It's high time that Dilshad decides what she feels regarding the presence of Rashid in her life.
She will be made to chose between the father and son very soon,I guess in future and I hope that she may take the right decision.

You have said it very rightly that while performing the duties of a wife, she should never forget her role as Asad and Najma's mother..

In the whole situation Dillu was totally biased towards Rashid which I didn't like at all.She should be happy that atleast Asad gave Rashid a chance to explain himself. It's not Asad's fault really if Rashid is brainless ofcourse😆

I don't know how many of you noticed this but the scene after the slap where Dilshad sat down on the couch in hall and Zajma and Zoe tried to send her to the room, mommy was shivering with anger while silent tears slipped through her eyes.
It was proved by CVs today that Asad has inherited all traits from his ammi only. Both mother and son have a habit of burning themselves inside by staying dumb. Why do they love silence sooo much?Gosh!!

And here comes the slap issue again.
Well ,I would say that it's all about perception my dear.
Slapping may be horrible for you but it might seem justifiable to others as per the circumstances.

If parents are forbidden from raising their hands on children when needed, right from the first day of the birth of a child as slapping is quite uncivilized then only the Almighty can show the right direction the young generation.
So, I really don't support u in calling the slap uncivilized and horrible.I was expecting Dillu to slap Asad when he was throwing things in his room but thank God Zoe entered that time.😆

But anyways, the topic of discussion is really interesting here.I enjoyed reading your post and the replies here a lot.
Take care!

thanks...I expected a better judgement from Dilshad..I am sorry I don't believe in disciplining a child through physical punishment.

gosh Mira😆 hilarious. But honestly it's not a bad idea. They surely need a group therapy.

For me it's not about a man slapping a woman or a woman slapping a man- its about how QH has taken the path that banks on far more violence than digestible!

A man chokes another woman (however evil she may be), the ever violent much in need of anger management protagonist breaks furniture & then the most gentle character of the show (besides Rashid lol!) Slaps her son: ALL IN THE SAME DAY!

What ever happened to a muslim drama (the very meaning of Islam is peace!)

hi Rmamsa ( sorry don't know your name)... Ditto on everything you said...as Mira very toy suggested they need a family group therapy after the display of full on family drama.

To respond to your post in a serious way Pri,

Dilshaad seems to have lost all sense of proportion when it comes to Rashid. Does she really think that Rashid's betrayal was only in abandoning her for money? Granted that he might have left for all this saazish nonsense. He still cheated on her with Shireen...

Is she really saying that she could have lived with that?

And is she saying she can actually take him back now which would mean Rashid doing to Shireen & co., what he did 17 years ago to Dilshaad & children?

Seriously, what kind of integrity would this man have left? And what kind of integrity would she have if she encouraged that?

Whatever Asad's motivations might have been in calling the police, I really think Dilshaad should stick with her son and not her cheating/coward of a husband. Remember the hospital scene when Dilshaad supposedly recovered after Rashid arrived? That was load of crap, but still, Asad was hurt by that I think...and now this. Poor poor Asad. I know he's totally unreasonable, but you're right, he did give Rashid a chance to explain and coward that Rashid is, he chose to protect himself and his secret. Bottom-line. He chose himself.

As for the choking bit...this serial has gone completely mad...Really? What are they going to do to each other next?

it's like watching weird dystopian vision of family life...

hi Mira...exactly...I really don't know what to think of Dilshad's thoughts...I don't know whether it's humanely possible to disregard the fact that her husband did choose an other woman for whatever reasons it might be and her accepting the fact that the reason been money was alright...and now she supporting him blindly and completely disregarding the fact that Rashid still denied to give his reasons when asked by Asad. Gosh Mira...Rashid is such a spineless man...I don't get him...the man doesn't realize that he has lost everything...his own son was accusing him of shooting his mother...his son aimed and shot at him...and he still decides to keep quiet. I also think it was really not a good idea to rush and ask Asad to free Rashid from the jail...what was she thinking ? Woman...your son just aimed and shot at his dad ?

I don't even know what to think about the choking scene...I don't know what they have left to show in this department.
