She may have called Asad's home as the house of a stranger when Asad had injured her on the inside, but she gives you glimpses and feelers now and then. Feelers of Asad's home being her home, Dilshad being her mother figure , Tamaatar, not Najma, being her kid sister - that whole feel of a part of being Asad's family. Today, when Asad, Zoe, Najma were looking at Rashid - they all had similar disappointed sadness in their eyes for him. Zoe's expression and feelings for Rashid were not any different from Asad and Najma. Today, Zoe was not concerned about Rashid , nor was she sermonizing Asad on behaving with his father. She read the anguish in him , she looked at him with empathy but she left him alone when it was needed. She has understood just when Asad should be left alone - she may not have said it to him today , but she was with him in his agony of seeing his father home.
When Zoe confronts and questions Rashid later , her eyes mirroring tears of Dilshad , you know that she is not really talking about Rashid using Zoe's friendship. She is talking about Dilshad , Asad and Tamaatar. Zoe told Rashid all that Dilshad could not say because she loves him. Asad could not say because he hates him, Tamaatar cannot say because she doesn't understand how she feels. Zoe does not realize it but her emotional attachment to this 'stranger' family is very dense. If their pain is your pain, their tears are your tears, this is your home, Zoe.
Zoe is where she should be and for what she has been looking all her life - home, family , love and warmth. Zoe is home. Take her away from this white palace and she will never be happy.
P.S- Razia is a tigress and i am convinced that even if Razia has told the truth to Badii Bii and the latter is gonna go on theatrics tomorrow, Razia has a back up plan. Razia is fallible - NOT stupid.
