My expectations are subterranean to be honest and tonights episode just made it worse. No words for it. Nor for Zoya's 360 🤢 But I'm looking forward to the mystery or as you say the trump card revelation... I never watched for the romance track so no comments there. I'll stop watching this in a couple of weeks anyway cause I'm heading off for a vacation and then when I come back I'm starting work so will have no time. I honestly in any case wouldn't have stuck around for the triangle track. I don't want QH writers mocking the delicate concept of Halaala. I have no faith that they will be able to pull it off with justifiability and they may end up gaining the ire of certain Muslim organizations as well. They should definitely not even go there.

You know, I think it was you who educated me on the halalala issue - right? Well after doing some research of my own and knowing it is not acceptable, I bet they will still go there...I mean think about it...how else can Asad appreciate Zoya unless he screwed over like in the synopsis...and after all, he would hate Zoya if she went with Ayaan...and what better way to force them back together 😆 My only question would be is would Ayaan and Zoya have done it...at this point, I don't even care any more...but it would be interesting

Considering how little research was done regarding this weeks episode, ZERO will be done on the subject of halaala...so yeah, I think I might actually have a good laugh in the end

😆

What I would like to watch: Both Shireen and Dilshaad telling Rashid to take a hike...

I think it would be interesting - BIG LOVE? I mean, I think it would be something new to offer to television...it would definitely be an interesting storyline with poor Rashid sleeping on the couch nearly every night.

Kind of helps to know some...and my family knows a few of them too😉Yes, but the raaz track is opening at lightening speed. Unless Nick and Nora - I mean Asad and Zoya - get to spend time on it, you really don't have much else happening with the other characters...

Sounds like you have a rather idealized viewpoint of love...let me some up Asad and Zoya - she leaves - she and Ayaan get together - they separate - she ends up with Asad cause of some marriage rules (and these will not be permissible per the religion but I seriously don't think the writers will care) and then Asad and Zoya will fall for each other. So this is not the crux of the story...

I guess you missed out something in my post, I said my idea of love is out of my personal experience, so it's definitely not idealistic. Let's say I still belong to the generation(mentaly) where things are repaired and not thrown once they stop working.

Yeah I have this sinking feeling as well. But then the PH will really get it. And not from fans like us. It wouldn't surprise me if they go ahead with showing halaala in the show, with their usual callousness for specific group sentiments and are issued with a fatwaa. That will be a first for Indian telly!

Halaala is a very touchy topic with Muslim academics and clerics... It is a minefield. PH will put one tiny step wrong and BOOM... They will get the kind of negative publicity they can't even begin to imagine.
