Fab post as always..Needless to say, i loved the epi..The starting bit where Asad checked if his ammi was still alive shows how much he is scared of losing her and how much she means to him cos she is all he has..There was something really warm and sweet in the conversation they had specially the 'dulhan' bit..And now regarding Asad and Zoya..I totally loved what transpired in Zoya's room..Asad saw first hand what effect his words had on Zoya..Zoya telling him to leave her alone and repeatedly turning back to see if he was really gone was a nice touch..Shows that subconsciously she wanted him to stay back..And i loved the fact that he did come back..The guilt and repentance on his face seeing her breakdown was well done..Now regarding the next scene, first of all am so glad they had a meaningful conversation for the first time in the show..His apology may not have been extravagant but it was extremely heartfelt and sincere..Am so glad Zoya understood and forgave him..This doesn't really mean she has no self-respect..Holding grudges and getting back at a person even after they they show genuine remorse doesn't exactly make a person kudgarz..I loved what she said to him about how everyone deserves a mother irrespective of their character..Zoya spilling coffee and teasing him about his coffee making skills was really cute..The moment she talked about Rashid, i knew Asad is gonna lose his cool..Its gonna be a long time before Asad has a cilvil conversation with anyone regarding his abbu..They both connected emotionally for the first time but held back and din let go completely..Good progress there..Now regarding the other scenes, I felt really bad for Shireen and Humeira..Unrequited love can be really painful and i hope these do get their due cos honestly they don deserve all this..And finally, am so glad Zoya confided in Asad about her latest brainwave..Its gonna be so much fun to see them work as a team
Nice post Vick...
... Zoya is really sweet ...She knew his behavior was outcome of losing her mother...As someone who herself lost most important pillar in life it probably identify with that pain..But still she forgave him for his cruel words with one coffee and one sorry,,,,she is seriously selfless soul who don't believe in keeping grudges...WHole episode was pretty neat with logical conversation from both duos...
Wow, how beautifully you write. Love the way you encapsulated the bits of today's episode and yes, agree with your statement
"What Asad did on his part to apologize to Zoe is conventionally nothing. But for me, its the most honest apology that he could manage and that mug of coffee is the biggest expression of warmth that a winter man like him is capable of."For me too, this apology worked because I felt it was from the heart
