Hehe don't worry about it. These are some of my favorite books. I am happy to talk about and swoon over Darcy, Rochester and the rest. Though, I have to say my personal favorite is Rochester. *be still my silly heart* lol

All I'd like to say is from the very beginning zoya has been intolerable for him. She's done everything wrong, ruined his presentation on cd by baking it in cake, ruined his phone, put both their lives in danger in mangalpur, end despite asad warning her, she gave shelter to mariam. Now obviously thus doesn't give him a right to be violent with her, but he has limits of tolerance as a human as well. And zoya always kept pushing him to the limit, so I guess enough had to be enough at some point.

And asad didn't call the police as zoya said that would not save mariam from her disastrous future. She would probably have to go back to the same family and they would try remarrying her off again.

Yeah.. initially i found Asad endearing.. now i find him disgusting. .. they wnat to be realistic.. then when he said about her mom.. she should have slapped him.. thats realistic.. .. he has ABSOLUTELY no right to tell NETHNG about her parents.. he keeps doing it.. we as viewers find so so annoying.. imagine living with that

Thank you I am glad there at least a few of us who can see how wrong this behavior is.

I have just stopped responding to people who think otherwise because trying to explain it to them is about as impossible as trying to get a leopard to change its spots!

Hey delena, just copying something I posted in another thread which now got closed:

Asad is steadily regressing day-by-day. He is now going past the point of no return. No one in their right minds and with a conscience will call him a gentleman, hero, knight-in-shining-armor and protector. He used to be that before. He is not anymore. Key-frickin'-word here. Tormentors cannot and can never be protectors and that is what he was today. Lagta hai ki uski parvarish mein khud kaafi kami reh gayi thhi. He is indirectly humiliating Dilshad's upbringing of him by being such a brutish asshole to Zoya.

And we know that's exactly what the CV's are going to do sadly! They will show a simple sorry and a cup of coffee and all is well between Zoya and Asad...Don't the show people get it that their biggest audience is women and showing such scenes is going to have reactions! But ofcourse they don't care...disgusting and disappointing indeed!

Zoya should find her Mr.Right elsewhere who treats her like a lady with respect and love-now thats romantic for me

Zoya should have a man who will be there for her through thick and thin and not manhandle her but make her feel safe always-now thats emotional for me
