Are these people for real? And people are getting excited (banging head on desk). People this is not a health relationship. Do we need to call Dr. Phil here to explain it.?

Are you excited about the ASYA scene...asad consoling her ans making zoya stop crying..?

what do u think?
how should it be..? romantic , cute or emotional ?

How can anyone asure that he won't do it again? Why should zoya even listen to him? I don't care if it's romantic cute or emotional... Zoya should never forgive him...

I cried for Zoya today. Asad does not get my sympathy or empathy.

I'm disgusted by this sh** they're palming off in the name of dark hero... What was heroic about him? That he saved her before?

I get that they're human and not perfect. But do you have to show this... She was pleading that he was hurting her, and didn't friggin care.

Pri was right to say Asad doesn't deserve Zoya

Asad is not a dark hero. I wish people (I don't mean you :) obviously) did their research to find out what a dark hero is. Lets see examples of dark heroes: Bruce Wayne/Batman, Mr. Darcy (Pride and Prejudice), Heathcliff (Wuthering Heights), Mr. John Thornton (North and South), Mr. Rochester (Jane Eyre)...and many more...

The above are dark heroes. They make you want to shake them, they make you feel for them, they make you love them! At no point are they ever abusive ! These are what "Bad Boys" are...they are the ones you root for.

You've mentioned some of my favorite books! Pride and Prejudice, North and South, Jane Eyre...I was never too fond of Wuthering Heights.

Heathcliff would be the most dark of this lot - I'm not sure I would even include Darcy...but I get your point! 😊

But man what a difference there is between these amazing characters and Asad!

I wasn't sure about Darcy either but I thought since he was arrogant and prejudicial in the beginning I'll put him here. I love these books too. I agree Heathcliff is the darkest amongst them but he was still a whole lot better compared to Asad.

Yeah isn't it amazing what good writing can do! 😃

Exactly. None were ever abusive to the women they loved. They were dark, mysterious and with hot tempers but they weakened the minute the women came forward. They listened to them and respected them. They loved them passionately.

True passion...those books still have the power to make me swoon.

Btw, if you guys like these books check out the BBC adaptations of Pride and Prejudice and North and South...they are really very good.

What makes these works of literature classic is that any dueling between hero and heroine is verbal. It is a battle of minds/intellects that is sexy (to me) ...and not fisticuffs...
