c'mon yaar i dont understand why people bring islam in every debate yaar...
a person who leaves in wife and children and doesnt consider them his responsiblity is wrong as per any religion in the world and islam is no different.
yes,polygamy is allowed in islam but it comes with some serious conditions and responsibilities which is extremely difficult for an ordinary man.even in quran..i dont know the exact wordings of the verse...but it says that you can have more than one wives but u have to do justice,but it would be very difficult for u..
Islam allows polygamy,coz it is against any form of adultery.So are other religions.But Islam doesnt allow any mistakes(regarding sex) or fathering a child out of wedlock...coz it is absolutely in human to father a child and then run away from responsibilties,so Islam binds a man in this way.
in islam the man is bound to take permission for second marriage from first wife which rashid never did.
As far as Rashid is concerned here,he is a spineless man who couldnt fulfill the rights of his wives and children(he didnt love shireen even),so his act is not at all justified in Islam.
and rashid fathering shireen's kids is i guess the reality which is shown in the show.No MAN in this world is that saint to remain truthful to their first love(in terms of sex) except the TV serial dikraas.
As far as living toghther is concerned,Islam binds the man to provide each wife a seperate house and remain with them equally so reaming together is not a issue..it is dependant on the wish of wives,not children.
PS: i'm a muslim and it hurts when the mistakes of muslims are considered as islam.
Islam is a divine religion and muslims are human,be the producers of the show,characters of the show or the general muslims.whatever they do should not be considered as Islam...as what ever hindus or christians do shouldnot be considered as their religon.
i dont wanna sound preaching here,but i wanted to clear some misconceptions.
