I started watching this show because KSG's acting impressed me and I wanted to see Gul's best work.

And I said to myself i will not look at it with any sort of logical mindset because i tend to be overly critical.

Alas I cannot look at anything like that for long, without critiquing.

Point at hand.

I honestly, genuinely cannot understand this messed up relationship between the two families. I especially can't understand the disgusting man that Raashid is.

He lives with Sheerien, fathered children with her all the while loving Dilshad?

And from what i gather, i think Ayaan is elder to Najma?

It's so messed up.

He had an affair/left Dilshad ,then Sheerien found out and she left him so he came back to Dilshad, where in she accepted him, and he pretended to be a perfect husband in all regards and of course Najma happened.

Then fire/raaz etc happened so he left Dilshad and went to live the perfect family life with Sheerein.

These two women are shown to still love this man in spite of his disgusting ways.

Further i understand Ayaan-Asad to some extent. Asad brought up Ayaan or whatever.

But today Nuzzat asked why these two families don't live together and i was absolutely appalled. She wants her father to live with two women?

Gul, your TRP audience is lapping this up, good for you. But not me.

Yes criticism aside.

I think KSG and SJ are brilliant actors.

So before anyone asks why i watch this show, it's because i get to see some wonderful emotions filter across his face and see SJ grow leaps and bounds as an actress.

For the underlined:

He must be dynamite in bed!😉
(I understand that makes silly women overlook all kinds of disgust.)

As for the last line, ditto.
(Don't expect any better from Gul in the future either)

Jayne!!!!!! It's good to see you!

I reckon he is. 😆And this is a show that is supposed to show woman in a good light. So far it rings painfully untrue.

Gul will be Gul. *sigh*

The bottom line is that Rashid is a spineless man. I'm pretty sure that the raaz will change our perception of him because that's exactly how the story has been written. But right now, at face value, this guy is spineless because he cannot stand up for what he believes in...be it his other two children, be it Nikhat's in-laws, and so much more.

I so agree with you on Nuzhat's dialogues today. I simply don't understand why Nuzhat/Nikhat love this other family so much and why Asad loves Nikhat/Nuzhat as much as he loves Najma. I kinda feel jealous for Najma 😆. Oh well. Idealism.

Coming to loving someone else while sleeping with someone else/creating a family with someone else or loving two women simultaneously or loving a man who has hurt you...well..that's just life. It's unsavory but it's realistic by all means. That's just how we humans are.

Seriously, Rashid's character doesn't deserve any respect or empathy. He has been playing with the emotions of both Shireen and Dilshad. Zoya should completely disregard all his, "Dilshad is my lost love" nonsense.

🤗to you, too, RC!

been a long time...felt the itch of coming to the forum and checking out some show... settled on QH..downloaded the epis and am in the process of catching up...got no hopes for this one either...

Characters making decisions for the 'good of others' smacks of patronization...oh, wait...that's one of Gul's signature moves.

As for me, no man is that good.😉
And if he, send him my way. I'll let you know after I ...er...test him out. (Not Rashid, please. His looks don't work for me)

Ummm... I think Zoya is better than her previous female characters.
