PLEASE READ THE FULL POST BEFORE SAYING SOMETHING!

All the people who are making the issue of the slap,I would tell you that in the end,it is a show.I am not justifying the slap, but do people understand that the show has a story line where ASAD AHMED KHAN is a male chauvinist? They are trying to show that he is like that.He has been brought up in that conditions.People tend to become impulsive in their lowest emotional movements and the "slap" was a reflexive action. The slap was to a woman, that is why it is being made a big issue! No this can not be termed as domestic violence. Many others shows have showed domestic violence but this is being made an issue because it is by the main lead.

When Balika vadhu started, nobody thought that they are encouraging child-marriage but now the show has reached a point where the "Balika Vadhu" has become an independent woman.Qubool hai is the same.Maybe this is the point where changes in Asad start to appear.

Secondly, they have to show the storyline as that because Asad who thinks girls are meant to be in their limits, respect their traditions, culture to the T,not speak up is going to fall for a girl who is completely opposite to his thinking. She is modern, independent and demands that girls should be respected. And she is right in that! She is here to make Asad understand that women have a right to be respected. You cannot form opinions from one episode when there is whole lot to come.Do you realize that Asad has made a lot of mistakes regarding Zoya, and he is regretting them. Each time he regrets, the more changes will appear. It is the journey where Zoya is going to change his male chauvinist thinking.

The slap is not justified but it is necessary for the plot. And KSG and Surbhi are just playing the characters,so now stop blaming them.Nor Zoya is wrong, nor Asad! Both are justifialble in their positions. It is just a matter of opinion of how people see them.

PS- If you want to say something, convey your opinions peacefullly! There is no need to bash.I am not going to reply to those people who do senseless bashing.
And please do not comment on KSG and Surbhi!I am solely talking about the characters,"Asad" and "Zoya"

Perfect post! 👏

I think the same way as you do.

Asad is being PORTRAYED as a man who doesn't believe in giving high respect to woman. Yes he does have certain respect (otherwise he would've slapped his mom long back 😆)

Over a period of time, we will see how Zoya will transform his ideologies.

All I can say is, that this serial is trying to show the reality about how woman are being treated. And over time, we will see a different perspective coming up. :)

Awesome post again. 🤗

Thank you so much!I am glad you that somebody agrees and sees the show from Qubool Hai's prospective.Instead of taking sides and justifying Asad or Zoya, can't people see it is a show and they are trying to show exactly how asad is.His behaviour cannot be justified but they exactly want to show that.Zoya is there to change his ideologies.I hope Qubool hai handles this issue sensitively and doesn't start with the romance. Then that will be highly disappointing.😉
Thanks for commenting!

Oh yes, this is a fiction.and Asad and Zoya are just characters.😊
The anger and frustration of Asad can be shown instead of hitting directly Zoya ( avoiding open display of domestic violence😡)
AND in turn demeaning Asad's image ...

Asad's outburst could have displayed by showing him punching the wall or some strong dialogue...
Everyone should refrain from bashing directly the actors...they are just playing the characters.

Yes you are right that it can be showed by punching the wall or some strong dialogue but you see he is not in a condition to say anything.Anyways he is not too good with words. And the other thing is that he is not Armaan, who is gentlemanly enough to show his frustration by punching the wall.

He is Asad.He has been brought up in a place where he thinks that hitting a woman is not wrong. But he will feel bad as he has a mother and a sister. That is where Zoya comes to show him that you CANNOT hit a woman.I don't think he is going to apologize with him running behind her for forgiveness of his mistake because his character is like that.He is just going to say sorry and take for granted that he is forgiven.Zoya or maybe his mother is going to make him realize what mistake he has committed.
Thank you for conveying your thoughts peacefully.
