So here too... why dont you see it from Zoya's POV... she sent Mariam away as per his wish, she tried to stop the shooter... she tried to support him during his time of sadness and all she got was a slap...
i dont think it is about male vs. female... it is about whether the slap was justified or not... and i beleive it was not

Exactly, in no way m i supporting the slap...i dont blame Asad nor do i blame Zoya for wateva happened but somehow both forgot tht sometyms before acting u have to think abt the consequences knwng the kind of a world we live in...
i do understand whateva Zoya did was just to protect mariyam out of luv and humanity but the way Asad reacted though repulsive is somewhr not his fault completely.
i just want Asad to be given a chance to prove himself, come out of his insecurities, issues with lyf and as for Zoya she is a ovely person who wouldn't think abt herself before helpng anothr person but smtyms it becomes imp for us to think before we react/act think abt the circumstances

a man or women isnt a problem in this case...

if asad was a women nd zoya was a man then asad could slap zoya right?

i mean a man who lose mother coz of zoya would like to kill her...forget poor slapping only..!!!

if i was a man and some xyz women was responsible for my mother's death/almost death then i would like to kill the women even if i m a man and she is a women

These r the weirdest people i've seen and they def, have some serious issues...
i mean whenevr Razia comes onscreen, i can see two horns coming out automatically without thinking and mamujaan seems lyk the guy in hell mixing things they show in movies n tv 😆

asad did say aap aurat hai isi liye apko kuch nhn keh raha

thats the point...
Asad didnt raise his voice against Razia coz she is a woman...
Asad didnt raise his voice against Mamujaan, even when he threatened him 4 times...
Asad didnt raise his voice against HAseena bi even when she got his brother beaten up and harrassed his half-sister for dowry...
yet he yells at Dilshaad for meeting his father inadvertently
he yells at Zoya for dressing behaving a certain way...
Najma is terrified what Bhaijaan might say if he saw her haircut...
What does that say about his character?

I'm ok wiht a hero wiht a weakness... this is the only weakness that unfortunately keeps getting thrown up again and again... and cannot be justified just coz it is a weakness...
as someone put it very well, this cycle of uncontrolled anger, regret should not be condoned coz it is a weakness

Asad's character has been shown pretty conservative, and though he had stated that ppl who dress lyk this [Zoya], they deserve the male bahaviour they get he didnt mean it...he has acted judgmental sometyms lyk the whole Akram issue but when he got to know the truth he didnt even care about his life just to save Zoya's...Somehow i think the situation he has seen in his childhood, the circumstances he had to go through a child have left a deep impact on him but still somewhr i think he does all this bcoz he doesnt want to see them hurt...

In dilshad's case, he yelled at her bcoz knwing Rashid he knw tht Rashid will never take stand for his ex-family and he didnt want his mother to have false hopes.
With Najma or the younger one [nikhat's younger sis] he just wants to protect them thinkning tht somehow if they conduct themselves in a certain way they wont attract unwanted attention ..

I think though his ways/precautions are wrong he just wants good for the ppl he care about, handling everything on his own since childhood he thinks its his duty to protect his family...There r tyms when even i fail to understand how the cv's want to shape his character but again till now he has no body in his lyf with whom he can share his prob, insecurity i guess thts his way of dealing with situation and now since he'll have Zoya's support we can expect a completely new Asad [ for good]

dont know... from recent examples, 4 Lions has a history of too little too late...!

Uffo!!! for the nth time it isnt about a man or a woman...
this is about the slap not being justified... coz it isnt Zoya's fault that the man mamujaan sent was roaming at large... it was Asad's fault too coz he let them get away instead of getting them locked away for murder, attempted murder, assault etc...
if a man cant honour and cherish his own daughter, how could Asad expect him to keep his word and not harm the family...
in that case Asad is as much if not more to blame for his mother's death... he is a wealthy tycoon in a great position, he didnt use his clout to bring justice...
Ideally if his slap to Zoya is justified, then Najma should also give him a well deserved slap for failing to protect her mom

i dont know whats gonna happen next nor do i expect 4 Lions to come up with some awsm plans to shape AsYa not as individuals but as two people who are meant to be but still i just hope they dont ruin Asad/Zoya's character...i wish history doesn't repeat itself
