I'm not positive, but the way Badi Bi was talking about them earlier, saying things like "Why are you so eager to get Nikhat married into that family?" "What's so special about them?" makes me think that this must be a cousin, because I would think she would be less critical if someone who is like her granddaughter is married into that house. Also, it's hard to imagine that the whole Asad-Ayaan thing wouldn't have come up before.

Also, this show is so on point and consistent with showing family (with the exception of Nuzhat, who seems to have disappeared suddenly) that I think it would be strange that Humaira has an older sister who she never mentions, you know?
