I'm not positive, but the way Badi Bi was talking about them earlier, saying things like "Why are you so eager to get Nikhat married into that family?" "What's so special about them?" makes me think that this must be a cousin, because I would think she would be less critical if someone who is like her granddaughter is married into that house. Also, this show is so on point and consistent with showing family (with the exception of Nuzhat, who seems to have disappeared suddenly) that I think it would be strange that Humaira has an older sister who she never mentions, you know?
I don't think it was Humaira's sister. Most likely a cousin or some family friend.
Cause if it was her sister, she would've came to Humaira and Ayaan's engagement!
