Hey guys before you jump on me saying that don't watch these serials if you hate them so much.. I would like to say I am just giving my opinion and everyone is entitled to their opinion. I love the way this show was going until they made zoya stupid Why would anyone run from their wedding? In monisha sarabhai's language - hall ke paise waste, logon mein badnaami and bride-groom se panga,. she had ample time to tell her sister that she is in no mood to marry😆She is living with total strangers and still behaves like a lil girl. I agree with asad that she is really annoying. she thinks its cool to behave like a kid when its disgusting. Being an independent woman does not mean to act dumb. Any female would know that its not safe to be outside home after 7. I do not find asad to be sexist. I think he is a very sensible guy. Also its extremely rude to not follow the rules of the house that you are a guest in. I hope CVs show make her character a bit more realistic.
Hey Aditi,
Welcome to the forum!
I don't get why she ran from her wedding too... But that's actually how the show started... So I'm a bit confused about what you meant by you liked the way it was going until... 😆
Her sister didn't listen to her on the wedding dat... But It would be really odd if Zoya had a rushed wedding and no time before it talk to her sister or even her more open minded and willing to listen jiju.
I think Asad's attitudes are sexist... He judges women by what they wear, and expects his mom and sis to hum and haw around him. The thing is we've been brought up to believe that men deserve that kind of treatment cos they come home after a hard day at work... And while I think you need to give and take some tender loving care, it should not be expected or demanded.
I'm a neat freak too and so is my hubby, but we don't go around pointing about at what's messy. We just clean up.
About safety, yes... The sad state of affairs in our country is that because men don't know how to behave with themselves, women don't have true liberty. We can't dress the way we like, go where and when we want to... Mumbai was safe a decade ago... But it's no longer like that. The other cities/ towns I don't want to even mention... So it's ok for Asad to be concerned... And I think Zoya should take note of it.
As for the rules of the house, he can't impose them on a guest. He could have told her nicely. The way Asad decides everyone for his sister, that's a bit much. I would hate it if my bro or even my hubby decided the length of my hair... It's different if I want to ask their opinion on what suits me better, but I decide not them
What irks me about her character is how she's so messy as a guest. That's a strict no no!
