thanks JP...I hope so...there has to be awareness especially after such an inhumane and barbaric incident.Well said. I hope they show Asad calling the police or something as he's leaving. I mean the girl was kidnapped, beaten, drugged and forced to wed. It would be stupid if Asad doesn't bring her justice in the legal sense. Get the goons arrested. Especially with the Delhi case active, it only seems logical to do this. It's the least they can show since it's just a tv serial and we can't expect much more.
I am hoping to see that ...thanks.Originally posted by: Raneebee
The scene is well set and appropriate to set an example to the misguided youth ...
I am fine...thanks for asking Shaz. How are you? Very nicely explained. Asad has to report this crime...it's a must. You are absolutely right about crimes against women are not reported in the name of family humiliation and respect. This pattern has to be stopped. Each and every crime has to be reported in order to erase such menace from the society. The society is still darkened by the double standards which is paralyzing the dignity and power of women. Respecting a woman has to begin from the walls of our own house...every man has to be taught that you can disrespect a roman because she is the one who gives birth to you. I have no words describing the women today...they are just inhumane creatures who deserves to rot in jail...I am sure they would go the same with their own children...you just never know. Atleast the Qazi was a nan enough to stand up and say that he cannot go through with the nikaah...but those criminals threatened him too. Seriously I want those women behind bars with Hasina too...isn't demanding dowry illegal in India ? How is she getting away with this? Atleast Rashid had the courage to say that his daughter is not for sale.Originally posted by: shaz2009
Hi Priyanka, hope you been keeping well!It really wouldarouse anger in me, if tomorrow they dnt show Asad taking any steps to get these attrocious inhuman creatures punished. What really disgusted me today was those woman that were witnessing this monstrosity taking place in front of their very eyes anddid not have the conscience to extend ahelping hand out to Zoya.God what a disgrace they are to the woman race! How could they just watch this obscenity beingcarried outon another fellow woman?God forbid but if the same thing was to happen to theirdaughter's or sister's would they not cry in their sorrow or even lend a helping hand or justdo something to try prevent all this?

I know thisis just a fictional show but this is what happens in reality too!Women especially in India do not take a stand against these brutal inhuman beasts in the name of izzat/honour in society or just plainly out of fear and play quite a big part in being accesories in carrying out these unlawful actsAlong with these men, these so called women need to be severely punished too.Being a woman should mean respectingyourself and other woman too.Uniting and showing these women the mirror will be a step towards paving the way fora better, safer tomorrow for women all over
m the world...only then ,justice really would prevail!
I agree with you completely. Razia is extremely manipulative and it seems that she wants humaira staying with them at all times...it's really confusing because from Razia's conversation it seems that all that Rashid possesses was given to him by razia's husband and the whole leaving Dilshad fiasco happened...but Rashid has come out to be an extremely selfish man...gosh Shaz...I have no sympathy for men like Rashid ...he is such a coward. Any responsible dad would cancel such a wedding for Nikhat. The woman hasina has repeatedly insulted Nikhat about her complexion and what not...right ? They should have cancelled the wedding there and then...4lions till now has given wrong messages one after another...it's so strange that Ms Gul in one of her recent interviews mentioned that she wants to clear the misconceptions ppl have about Muslim culture...till now I am afraid instead of clearing the conceptions she is conforming them...don't you think? Shaz I live in US and I have a very close Muslim friend...her family is not a bit what they are showing in QH... Her husband is one of the most progressive man I have met...he respects her tremendously and they have two beautiful daughters. My friend has no restrictions whatsoever as a Muslim woman...I haven't seen her husband ever speaking loudly with her...I have suggested her QH too...she saw it for couple of episodes but now she is reluctant to see because she feels ashamed at the plight of women and the way they are portrayed.Originally posted by: shaz2009
Hi Priyanka...I'm fine thanks!Sorry I cnt copy paste as my lappy sensor buttons not working.I agree that Hasina needs to be punished for her deeds to as I'm sure demanding dowry is illegal in India as I'm from the UK I cannot be a 100% sure...regardless she deserves some sort of punishment and yes!Rashid has stood up for his daughter saying she's not up for sale but is that enough? He really should have called this wedding off by now as Hasina's intentions are blatantly out in the open for all to see so why hasn't he done that yet?For me it's coming across as a bit hard to digest to see a man of his stature,an educated well spoken man who is capable in every way who has done quite well for himself in life to be just going along with all this just at Razia's behest. What could be his majboori?I know we will get the answers to all these questions as the show progresses but at this moment it's coming across as very peculiar.I agree that fur Lins have opened the door for awareness and arguement on such inhuman crimes and it's not just the Muslim sector that are experiencing such incidents but it is happening all over the world where woman are made to suffer such attrocities...even here in London I know of many incidents where women have had to undergo torture at the hands of such families so this narrow minded thought process is still present in people not just in India but in such 1st world countries such as the UK,USA.etc...etc...At the end of the day it all comes down to whether women in these situations are courageous and strong enough to take a stand and it really is about time they stood up for their rights and with just a little help and encouragement from fellow women like ourselves it sure makes a huge difference in working towards eliminating such heinous crimes.
