Hi Guys,

Totally loved today's episode. Everyone was perfect. Though there were some salient points that i wanted to share and discuss with you guys

1 (this is from last friday episode) You remember when dilshaad called Asad at work to share her worries and asad dismissed them very casually...i know many of you felt that he was being a jerk..(am not denying it) ..Its just that i personally think that even though he was dismissive with his Ami...he couldnt ignore the tingle of doubt...thats why he asked prasad where akram was...but when prasad gave the excuse of akram's ami's illness...he again put aside his doubts in favour of his employee of 3 yrs.

2 Today again when he walked in through the door and saw his Ami worrying about Zoya...It was irritation that flickered on his face first...it bothers him that his Mom takes that girl seriously and worries about her...Since he knows Zoya is slowly crawling under his skin and getting to him...his futile efforts to keep distance from her and not care about her is enforced by his insistent belief that Zoya is alright and she is not in trouble...

3 Yet..when he walks away to his room...the man doesnt just sit there he apparently was listening and waiting for zoya's phone call too... Thats why the minute the zoya's phone call came...he came rushing into the living room...

4 After overhearing the phone conversation...which he was patiently trying to listen in ...he finally woke up to the fact that she is in trouble..

5 Another point is that the minute dilshaad says do something ...the first thing he says that he has been trying akram's number but was not getting through...which again indicates that even though he walked away to his bedroom...he was trying to contact akram...he wasnt as nonchalant about this whole situation as he was pretending to be.

6 Once he was on board to the fact something is wrong he logically crosses all the T's and circles the O's...he gets akram's home number...then call his home...when the lady say's akram is at work...his suspicion starts to grow...so going on an instinct he asks the women whether she was akram's mother...when she says yes...he ask's her about her illness..when the women say's she is very healthy by God's grace...Asad finally is very sure that Akram lied to him...that pissed him off...

7) Asking his trusted side kick prasad to trace the location of Zoya's last call he walks away to the cafe house to see if there was any sign of zoya there...

8 Reaching the cafe he learns that zoya was seen in the company of Akram and rowdy men andthat the took her away...his urgency to reach Zoya grows...when his Sidekick calls with the location...By his facial expression things dont look well for akram and his goons..

9 And Finally his nick of the time arrival at the location and interupting Zoya's forced nikah and saying "Qubool nahi hai" was well shot...Ironical isnt it...he admonished Zoya for saying Qubool nahi hai at her wedding and now he says it for her...

Though something was missing from the last scene...he sees Zoya in a terrible state..she is drugged, her mouth is bleeding..not to mention that she is being forced ...but there was no flicker of concern on his face...Anger yes but no concern...this happened once before...when zoya was attacked by the gundas..he asked he are you ok but...there was no anger or concern reflecting on his face for the men who dared to hit a women

But then i m ay over think this part coz iam so used to arnav's minute by minute flicker expressions..

On the whole ...very good episode... So the question rise where does the relation between zoya and asad head?

Nice post and yes it was a good episode

Their bond will get stronger as Asad realizes Zoya really is a bechari LOL

A very nice thread and a wonderful analysis I must say.
I really loved the way you have analyzed the whole situation.
You see the kind of man Asad is,he hides his emotions usually.
He was concerned for Zoya that is why he came to save her.Regarding the appearance of worry on his face,he is a master in concealing his emotions.He does not feel anything for Zoya and that is why he was expressionless when he saw her.We may get to see his concern for her tomorrow but I'm not sure of that.Basically he must be feeling guilty from inside and seeing Zoya in such a bad state would have increased his guilt even more.
We could clearly see the rage in his eyes for Akram/That was all because of and for Zoya only.Asad is not a man who will let others know that he is being considerate towards a woman, no matter what the situation may be.
Regarding Arnav's emotions and you being used to it,we may better not talk about it here coz it's not allowed here.
KSG is a wonderful actor and if the script would have demanded a concern on his face,it would have automatically been present on his face.But understanding Asad's character,we can't expect to show concern for Zoya.He is a person who does not likes to reveal all his emotions to everyone.Also,if Asad starts getting worried and teary eyed for Zoya, then it might indicate in something building between ASYA which I think still needs time.
So I was quite contended with the last scene.I simply justified Asad's lack of concern for Zoya coz I felt it was the demand of the situation..
You have written your views very well.
Keep coming up with such wonderful ideas in future also.

Some good observations you've made!ASya stilll have a long way to go till they work on a foundation for the basis of anything to happen yet so for either of them to be heavily concerned for one another's well fare would be too much to ask for right now.We've gotta wait and watch tomorrow to see what Asya interaction is like and whether Asad shows a sufficient amount of concern towards Zoya

yes is happens, inevatability we unconsciencely, compare Asad and Arnav in our minds.

in many ways both characters are so alike.

both selfmade buisness tycoons, at a very young age.

both have a bad past, caused of which is their fathers.

both men on the house, responsable for the women in their lives.

both well in touch with reality, and believe love is just a word, and a wast of time.neither believing in love, or the there is anything called true love.

despte all that Asad is very different from Arnav.

where Arnav was quick to anger, Asad is not, he has more control on his emotions.

Arnav would act inpulsively in anger. Asad is rational and assesses the situation before taking action.

in this episode i felt from the moment Asad found out that Akram lied, he knew zoya is in trouble. and he was royal pissed. like 'The Thing' for Fantastic 4 says "its Clobbering Time"

when Asad assessed the situation in that room, and the near unconscious Zoya, i felt there was anger at her condition. but being Asad his first mode of action is to get Zoya to a safe place away for all those present in that room ie his car. then he is going to walk back to the scene of the crime and clober the daylights out of all the goons present there, and land a few tight slaps on Akrams face, and then tell him in a very gentelmanly fasion that Mr. Akram need not come to the office tomorrow, for he is fired.

then Asad sahab will carry a really injured Zoya home, call a doctor, pace the corroidor outside her bedroom continiously curseing himself for sending Zoya to meet Akram. maybe sit by her bed with his sweet ammi present. Asad will be very remoseful and full of guilt. he may even accept his mistake and agree with Zoya that she did the right thing by running away from her wedding.

thought Asad does not have feelings for Zoya yet, there is still a spark of attrection, and he will realise that he does not like to see her hurt and helpless. Asad has always thought that Zoya is a strong assertive girl, and can take care of herself, but he has never seen Zoya so helpless, and one thing is for sure Asad is going to get very protective of Zoya too from now on.

Enjoyed reading ur observations, I agree Asad did have some doubt all along and when he went into his room he tried calling Akram and then coming out of his room as soon as he heard the phone ring! I wish he would show that concern on his face when he saw Zoya in that drugged state, but I have a feeling we will when he takes her home :)
