I completely agree with you that he does need to apologise like I said before if I was in Zoya's place I would have kicked his *ss by know, but we all know sooner or later he will turn into a hero which is wrong, he should change but not to a hero but into a person of the 21st century who understands not all NRI's are like that

I completely agree with you. The NRI remark was extremely condescending. I am a NRI living in US since I was 8...I completely took it personally. They need to stop glorifying the heroes.

So true I took it personally as well since I've been living in England since I was born and I will carry on taking comments like this personally until it stops in both reel and real

thanks. It's so nice to see we NRI's around the world can stand up for each other whether its in real or reel. My aunt lives in London and I have visited UK several times...it's beautiful. By the way I am Priyanka...what should I call you?

hi Nikki, I love London too. I just saw today's episode...gosh it was gripping...did you see the way they were manhandling and hitting her...she had bruises all over and was bleeding. Zoya is in this situation because of Asad in the first place and now they are going to show him as her savior...honesty, I am tired of seeing heroes been glorified in such manner. I really want Asad to realize his mistake. Zoya needs to move out of the house.

No, dont think of it that way rupunzale. 😊 I think of it as a man who is trying to correct the wrongs he has done. There is nothing wrong with accepting your mistake and tying to fix it. I know Asad isnt my dream guy or my favorite guy, but in this episode I do not blame him. He realized his mistake the moment he spoke to Akram's ammi, so he tracked zoya's phone down and came to get her because he finally knew Akram wasn't as good as he seems. Nothing wrong if he was the one to rescue her; afterall he was the one who put her in that situation. In fact, I would have lost all respect for him if he had not gone to save her. You would have as well. After knowing she was in trouble, if he still hadnt gone after her then I would have believed Asad is inhumane.

And whats more...I think this is a turning point in their relationship. I think Asad will realize his mistake. Asad will finally see that Zoya was not lying, that he was the wrong one. He will finally see he was wrong for the first time where Zoya is concerned. He will see Akram for who he really is and Zoya for who she really is. He will see that just because she is an NRI doesnt mean she is bad. He will see that gharwale are gharwale (and Zoya is a gharwali), while baharwale are baharwale.
Well atleast I hope he sees all this...that he has made a terrible error in judging people.

agree with all that you said here.
Hell... kidnapping in broad daylight with 3 more goons to assist. Kya cafe ke log chudiya pehen rahe the??
Plus given the rape case in delhi the serial CVs need to seriously tone the overt aggressive potrayal of the male characters. So not cool timing with this one CV.. Absolutely condemn it. In case they had already canned this episode should have reshot it better . what kind of message r u sending to the society?😡 .. It is ok to kidnap, rape and pillage and no one is come to stop u. Only if there is a male superhero who can fight like a ninja will the helpless female be rescued.
IT would have been better if you showed some people in the cafe calling in the cops and they coming in to help and rescue. Zoya could have then come in late home or better still have the cops call Asad and have him escort Zoya back after informing him what happened. For the sake of few sick TRPS it is totally unwarranted. 🤬🤬
TOTALLY CONDEMN this scene 😡

hi nisha...thanks for the explanation...I am priyanka...I so hope that you are right. I do want to see him regret and apologize to Zoya. I am a NRI and although I am an agnostic...I have no problem in showing Asad as someone who is religious and traditional...but what has disappointed me is the views about NRI's and specially about women. I didn't expect this from an educated and informed person like Asad...he should have known better. I have no problem in Asad saving Zoya from this gruesome ordeal but yes I don't want him to be shown as the amazing savior and completely neglect the fact that she is in this condition because of him. Nisha, I work in a domestic violence center and I see women in such conditions on a daily basis...in the real world women who are kidnapped are raped and often killed and they are really not saved like its been shown . It's very important for women to realize that if something dreadful as a kidnapping happens they have to fight it themselves in every possible way they can...they cannot rely on anyone or wait for anyone to save them. They have to try to save themselves on their own. I don't even want to talk about the emotional and psychological trauma the woman has to go through apart from the physical aspect. They are scarred and ostracized for life in most cases.
I too want a new beginning on better grounds where Asad starts believing that NRI's are not that bad as he seems them to be and 4lions should rectify the message too.

this has been the norm to show the hero as the savior and glorifying him to an extent that his flaws are all covered. It's unfortunate that it is shown time and again that a woman has to be rescued by a man in such situations when on the other hand a man just like him will be raping pr kidnapping or even killing the very woman...it's sick and pathetic.
