and since all of us here are of the same belief that color doesn't reflect the person and being fair, dusky or dark doesn't matter as long as the person is gud..
I would love to know the POV of those who do think being gori is gr8 coz we all know that fairness cream for gals n now even guys have a big market! Matrimonial ads always have the line 'sundar gori susheel' as in fair beautiful homely girl needed 🤪

n just a few days bk me and a frnd were discussing how even our songs reflect the same mentality:
chandi jaisa rang hai tera
gori gori

What bothers me on the show is that it is acceptable by the family that insulting the girl and her family is okay. No one is thinking that if they are like this now then what happens later after the marriage when the girls is completely under their control?

well i agree my views are same bt sadly this is the reality this all thing first starts from home only . people dont think if they are like this now what will happen i mean for them being a girl father is burden or something upar se agar ladki sundar na ho ya kuch kami ho to sone pe suhaga. some go to extend to fulfil all boys demand and once the custom starts it never ends. i dont know people should just first start thinking about there daughter and what she wants rather that what log kahage itni badi ladki ghar pe bathi hai . well log to aise bhi kahege waise bhi the people themself thinking should change. these days how much we hear about being burnt ,comiting sucides still also some people dont open there eyes

And its not only about girls.
Do you see fairness cream for male ad a boy who has dark complexion.
Just because of he has dark complextion he fears to met with girl.
Whenever he see a girl he tries to hide himself with something.
Seems like no girls will like him just because he has dark complextion.
He behaves like a guilty just because he has this skin colour,
He fell ashemed of himself.
Just than he got this cream and use it and his skin colour becomes brighter suddenly.
And girls start to call him hi handsome.
So his skin colour change and he becomes handsome suddenly.
It sends a negative massage to the socitey.
