The makers of Qabool Hai said it's not a love story per se, but that it dwells on social issues and I hope they stick with that. Simply showing romance with no substance to the show may work for many fans as evidenced by other shows who do this sort of thing, but then the real message of the show just gets sidelined and people who were interested in the show for its concept may end up leaving rather than watching "sizzling hot pointless romance."

If thats the case then most of the Colors show shouldn't work since they are infused with social issues. Good content and good performances will always work.

I know. Some of those social dramas are really riveting and it's the combination of good performances and good content that make them thrive. Hopefully QH stays on the track they're going. They have brought up some very interesting things and it would be silly if they forgo that just to give in to some fans demand. I won't mention the show's name, but isn't that what happened to it? It started off with a good message and then, it went downhill after a few months. Yet many fans claim it's the best show on earth even though the content suffered but romance thrived 🥱.

A good show needs to have the right combination of romance wid some good culture/ social issues wid the right touch of family drama if it has too much of one of those things the show gets damn boring and fizzles out😳...like in one show ther was too much social drama and girls being killed and beaten it had no light moments so audience rejected it and then it went the love story way and then they got to lovey dovey...then we have ssk which was a dance show but people didnt want jus entertainment so it went the saas-bahu way and its doing quite well now😳

if qabool hai has the right touch of romance wid social issues wid saas bahu they it will work will all of the masses😳 and u are right sometime the real message gets sidelined because people want pointless romance😛
