True, it would be short-lived drama, but I can't wait to see them together and can't bare to wait that long 😆

Yeah! Love-hate thing would be really nice to watch instead of going through the whole with Ayan and then he lets her go and then she goes back to Asad. But it says on Zee TV that Ayan and Zoya will never get married. Ayan will tell her he will marry her, but he won't and so she will leave and then Ayan will ask Asad to help her get her back and Asad will, which then will result in a love triangle.

Either way can't wait for the story to progress! Loving this show right from the start though! (:

@bold But on the Zee TV website it says, "...but a twist of faith gets her married to Ayaan instead."

I'm not going to say that this is wrong. As Allaha knows the best. However If u have seen any Pakistani drama then they have showed talak 3 times in a row. They do a lot of research before showing such things. As I have said in my post already that it depends on how the divorce was done. It is best If cv's don't touch on this! They might even show Zoya going against this! Which would be more interesting to see! Zoya should marry Asad without halala!

Dramas do tend to distort/exaggerate things, even if based on research :) Plus, like I said, the idea of saying talaq three times in a row is a Indo-Pak cultural issue, and since dramas are a cultural tableau, its bound to be shown that way instead of the proper way.

I agree definitely with you. Its best if the CVs dont show this. Its already really confusing to Muslims themselves, and to broadcast it in such a general manner is not wise. Also, like someone else said, the idea of talakx3 then getting married to someone else just to get back together is so out of touch with today's people, regardless of generation. I've yet to meet someone who's experienced/heard of someone who did that.
And its just going to make for a very messy storyline =/

I just want Zoya and Asad to get together. Ayaan seems more rogue-ish and almost younger (both in age and spirit) than Zoya in a way that's not really flattering for their couple-ship.

Again, I'm not going to comment on what's right and what's wrong as I'm not sure which is the proper way to give divorce but both are accepted! I agree that most Muslims don't know a lot about this topic that's why they talk to someone who is more educated and knows a lot about Islam.Allaha is the great one and he knows the best! This is a serious matter and I hope that cv's don't use this track as the hindhu majority viewers would not understand this at all. So I hope cv's make a better move and have Asad and Zoya get married in the 1st place. They can use Ayan as the love triangle some other way! You guys have all great views! Since everyone has a different perspective on Islam or any other religion it is a bit hard to discuss it!

I am a Muslim and familiar with the talakh thing (saying it thrice n it's over) but not with the halala concept. It would be misleading to many but I feel it might be interesting to watch. It might attract viewers for its debut in Indian television 😆 and it would also give the character of Ayaan some importance. Just my view. Dont bash me :p

You might have no heard about halala as it might not have been used by anyone u know. Usually in Islam or any other religion when a women gets divorced she moves on with her life and marries some one else which is quite normal. I agree the term halala is misleading. It is actually used for the women to move on ie. marry someone. But People use it to reunite with the husband and wife's agreement! No one really uses this but it is used If you're really in love with each other and the divorce was done as a result of fight or the husband was drunk, etc. Without a doubt Allaha doesn't like divorce or halala but it is accepted.

Islam is extremely complicated and beautiful at the same time. Most of the laws of Islam support men and not women. But you can't change that. I totally love this show and hope that it doesn't get so complicated that people stop watching it. Whatever happens its gonna remain my favorite so let's just hope for the best. :)
