I'm back here with my analysis on the second mindblowing episode of Qubool Hai.
Well I know you all must be happy to see KSG in the whole episode.
Starting from the first scene,Asad and Ayaan's brotherly bonding stole away my heart.Ayaan's mischievous nature and Asad's serious attitude was visible just in one gesture of their handshake. Asad's acting skills are wonderful.I'm glad that finally I'm loving Rishab's acting.Ayaan and Asad's bond is really adorable. The two handsome hunks sitting on the stairs are bound to make faces turn towards them.
Well , I agree with Ayaan. Asad's presence is enough to cut his chances of getting a girl. His flirtatious nature was fun to watch. It was really nice to see Asad pulling back his mischievous brother who was pulling his leg for getting a sister-in-law. Ayaan is quite concerned for non-flirtatious nature of Asad and poor Asad is bearing the cute talks of his little brother.

Coming to mumani jaan and the family scene,it was really dramatic.Ayaan's mother is such a drama queen. And what is with Mumani. She is favouring her daughter and Ayaan's mom is not at all concerned when her own daughter was cornered. All Sheeren is thoughtful is about her mehndi.Gosh!! These women I tell you.I liked dadi a lot though.
The next scene where Ayaan shows tantrums for getting a bike was really cute. I liked the way Asad being the elder brother pampered his younger bro and agreed to give him a bike. The pain on Asad's face by the mention of his father was quite visible on his face. Asad smacking Ayaan was also nice when the latter told him that a girl would come in between them. It shows that Asad would never let anyone come between them.
Finally everyone got in the mazaar. The background score was really nice. And finally hero sees heroine. I loved how they sat opposite each other and when Asad lifted up his eyes, all of a sudden wind starts blowing and he sees Zoya. The moment his eyes fall on Zoya he gets blowed by her flowing hairs and the black dupatta also few away. Well it's ASYA effect you see.
Zoya ki zulfon ki ghata Asad ke dil ko chu gayi.Uske aansuon se Asda ka pathar dil kuch toh zaroor pighla.
Well, Asad's expression on watching Zoya crying was simply out of this world. It showed that he has a golden heart and can't see others crying. The way they showed Asad's entry first it gave me a sign that Asad and Zoya would fall for each other first and eventually Ayaan would also fall for Zoya.Well whatever it is,I don't want anyone to come between ASYA and also in between Asad & Ayaan's brotherly love.
Something definitely magical happened when Asad saw Zoya.Earlier he used to look down when ayaan flirted with other girls. So definitely something stirred in Asad's heart watching Zoya.He could not take off his eyes away from her.Earlier he told Ayaan that it was badtameezi conveying salaam to a passer by girl.Asad lost himself in Zoya's serene face in just one glance. And later he realizes what was he doing. He composes back himself and starts praying. This shows how decent and conservative he is.The dargaah scene was really magnificent.

Finally, the goons are searching for Zoya along with Ayaan.Ayaan as usual gets fascinated by a new face and tries to look for her. Mumani jaan's scenes are really funny. Humera and her cousin are always making fun of Mumani jaan along with dai.All those scenes were really entertaining.

And finally, the most awaited scene of today's episode was shown. ASYA meet and talk finally.Zoya ka dupatta uda aur saath mein Asad ka dil bhi uda le gaya… Zoya gets hurt by Asad's car. OMG!! I'm in love with that scene. I liked how ASad's eyes rested on Zoya's face when she caressed her wounds and then he tried to help her.Gosh!! Zoya really surprised me when she started to talk rudely to him. Poor Asad was shocked to see a girl talking to him like that. He was baffled and eventually they both fight. Gosh! The 3 back to back dialogues were simply terrific.. It was really funny when he said that 'is mulq pe bada ahsan hoga'. That pepper spray dialogue was really funny. Allah miyan was there anything so amazing than ASYA's first meeting in today's episode? I'm in love with them. I loved how Asad told Zoya tha he does not wants to say her anything on her nikaah day. This shows that he really cares for others. I liked how Zoya talked about the impositions posed on girls in India. Asad's answer was just amazing.Tehzeeb-it's really important for all of us and it really makes India different from west. Asad's dialogues were really excellent.
Numaish paschim ki ada hai ,sharm purab ka gehna
Is mulq mein aurtein isi gehne se sajti hain

This shows how much Asad values his traditions and Zoya being a NRI is bound to have open minded views. But this is what makes ASYA different yet wonderful. The first meeting showed sparks between the leads. It would be very interesting to watch how 2 different people with different point of views fall for each other.
I must say the first meeting of ASYA was outstanding. They meet and then they walk away to opposite directions.I wonder when they'll start moving towards each other.

And then, we see little bro getting into trouble and elder brother saving him dutifully.
I liked the hand shake a lot.
I love the 2 brothers soo much. I really loved the fight. Oh! Asad got stabbed. That was really shocking.
I never imagined that I would see Ayaan crying and here he was crying for his brother. That was so sweet.

Rashid miyan finally meets his son after 17 years. The family scene of sisters was nice. I liked it. I liked it how Asad opened his eyes and called for his ammi. "Mere zakhm itne jaldi nahin bharte"-this dialogue contained so much pain.Hats of to KSG for his fantabulous expressions and amazing dialogue delivery.

The precap is really interesting.
Well the second episode was simply beautiful. From starting till end, we got Asad to see which was the USP of today's episode. Today, we got to see different shades of Asad. Starting from a responsible and loving brother, we saw Asad in different shades. His character is layered and I guess we'll unravel all the layers one by one with the forthcoming episodes. His face does not reveal much which shows that he contains all his emotions and feelings inside. His eyes speak volumes and if one really wants to understand Asad, he needs to look deep into his eyes to understand what is going on in his heart. His eyes contain so much pain.Asad's acting is simply amazing. KSG can say everything by simply using his eyes. His expressions were simply fabulous.
Zoya is doing exceptionally well.she was looking really beautiful and she is acting very nicely.Ayaan is also doing a great job.The story is moving at a good pace and not a single second is boring which is the best part of Qubool hai.I wish all the best and success for this show.
Hamein toh yeh show dilon jaan se qubool hai.Kya aapko asad,Zoya aur Ayaan qubool hain?

I'm going to be honest - I was disappointed with the first episode (29th Oct). I prefer introduction episodes to be eventful and I felt this one was a little dull and slow-paced. The only highlight of the introductory episode, I felt, was the Delhi Heights song, which I love.
However, the second episode (30th Oct) was impressive. The pace was crisp, writing seemed skilled and of course, there was enough KSG to satisfy the KSG fan in me! It finally feels real: he has returned!

There was a bit of everything in the second episode. I wouldn't say it was a perfect episode but it was promising; I now see a lot of potential with the show. Should the writers make the most of what they have, the show can turn out to be pretty awesome and possibly memorable .

First of all... the negatives: I wont take any names, to avoid upsetting anyone's sentiments here, but I feel some of the actors on the show need to sharpen up their acting skills if they want to continue working on a daily show. It is difficult, which is why they need to up their efforts even more. As part of the audience, it's also difficult to watch people who don't seem to be taking care of themselves and what/how they're performing. So I hope those things are worked on, by the production house, ASAP. Also, I feel the scenes with character artistes are not being given enough attention and are thus appearing quite dull in the overall frame of things. I find myself just waiting for the leads to appear and could easily skip the other scenes. The writer could do with paying more attention there, on how to make the show work as a whole, with each character developing and coming across as interesting, regardless to their screentime/importance to the story.

Now for the highlights: How incredible was it to see KSG act again? I'm proud of him for choosing a role so different to his earlier one. It was a risk to take but a sensible one, as recreating the earlier role was near impossible and would've been the easy (most likely also unsuccessful) route to take. Now, he'll get to prove himself more as an actor; he has a challenge on his hands but yesterday's episode proved he's all set to do a brilliant job.
Stand out moments from the second episode would include the sequence in the dargah, where the boys see Zoya for the first time (this was directed and performed really well), and the later scene between Zoya and Asad. The Zoya-Asad scene is where I really noticed how much potential this show has. The points bought up in their little argument were interesting and quite thought-provoking too; it gave the sense that the show has potential not only to entertain but also educate, which is a rarity on Indian television.

Hoping for the best from the show! Fingers crossed.

Thanks guys!

Gia, this thread reminded me of the WED days too, which is the only reason why I'm back to I-F. Good memories!!

Today's episode (31st October) took me by surprise! A lot of background story was given, which has me even more interested in seeing what happens next. I feel I'm actually beginning to know some of the side characters now; the scenes with the family today were much better scripted than in the previous two episodes.
Downsides? Not very much today but I feel using the 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' title track did not do justice to the moments the song played over. I understand the lyrics did go well with the situation and characters' feelings, however the music did not fit right. It would've been a lot more effective had they kept it as a silent sequence, perhaps with original music sans lyrics playing...or their own song? Surely, they could afford to put in enough effort to create a song expressing their protagonists feelings?
Everyone acted quite well today.
Overall verdict: An impressive episode. After a somewhat disappointing introductory episode, the show seems to be getting better already. The precap definitely has me wondering what tomorrow will bring!

After seeing today's episode, I want know EVERYTHING now :P In my opinion, everyone did a nice job today. Since I have never seen these people before, so I am still getting used them unlike with KSG. I did feel that the KHNH song wasn't needed though. They could have put an instrumental tune with another song. Karan's acting was awesome today. I loved how Ayaan stood up for Asad. That just shows how much Ayaan loves his bhaijaan.
