Let me dedicate one of my most favourite poem written By Gulzar and portrayed in Raincoat. I guess for me the words haunt you deeply just like these old memories do when we look back.

sabhi kuch ruk gaya hai💔

The poem gets followed by a beautiful song too- PIYA TORA KAISA ABHIMAN. 🥺

The pics you posted just struck me with the lines from this poem and Preet's state of mind failing to gauge Rizwan's refusal, indifference, disapproving their feelings towards each other and in a way pushing her away far does remind me the song too. For what reasons he has become this heartless to Preet's sufferings? 💔

The lines are beautiful Jhalak. I have never seen fictional characters on hindi television on recent years making me go all poetic citing lyrics, poems, quotes lke these two protagonists did. It shows the brilliant piece of writing from the team and acting calibre of Mona and Iqbal. They lived Rizwan and Preet each day to get us connected this way. 👏
