Let me dedicate one of my most favourite poem written By Gulzar and portrayed in Raincoat. I guess for me the words haunt you deeply just like these old memories do when we look back.
kisi mausam ka jhonka tha jo iss deewar par latki huyi tasveer tirchhi kar gaya hai
gaye saawan mein ye deewarein seeli nahin thi na jaane kyun
is dafa inmein seelan aa gayi hai, daraarein pad gayi hain aur seelan is tarah behti hai jaise khushk rukhsar par gile aansoon chalte hain

ye baarish gungunati thi
issi chhat ki munderon par
ye ghar ki khidkiyon ke kaanch par ungli se likh jaati thi sandeshein
bilakhti huyi si baithi rehti hai ab band roshandaron ke picche
the most favourite part where it seems the old memories questions-
dopaharein aisi lagti hain

bina moharon ke khali khaane rakhein hainna koi khelne wala hai baazi na koi chaal chalta haina din hoti hai ab na raat hoti haisabhi kuch ruk gaya hai💔
woh kya mausam ka jhoka tha
jo iss deewar par latki tasveer ko tirchhi kar gaya hai.
The poem gets followed by a beautiful song too- PIYA TORA KAISA ABHIMAN. 🥺
The pics you posted just struck me with the lines from this poem and Preet's state of mind failing to gauge Rizwan's refusal, indifference, disapproving their feelings towards each other and in a way pushing her away far does remind me the song too. For what reasons he has become this heartless to Preet's sufferings? 💔
