Here is the thing probably ishaan was preet sis husband n she was pregnant or maybe baby ho chuka tha.. preet was getting married when that attacked happened... everyone died except preet n kavya... since no one left from preet family ishaan married her... n this way kavya got a mother.. or preet supposed sis was at death bed when asked ishreet to get married...
