I will seem to be in a minority of 1 - but I absolutely loved the new Adi today. His transformation is exactly how I hoped to see the change - mellowed down, grounded, silent and brooding. He carried the role of the mourning lover extremely well - esp. the silence in his voice when he couldn't connect to Avantika - that was brilliant.
Overall I like the leap and how they've handled it - Sheila was always my favorite and except for the fact that she's still badly dressed, she looks fab. Rubel too used to be my favorite and I like his transformation too - just not the cherry hair, couldn't they find any other shade except that awful burgundy?
Payal seems to have taken over Latika's wardrobe and her dialog sheets - that was sad. Anuj looks hilarious not pathetic - one would think he had a secret crush on Pankhuri the way he carries on. And what's with the firebrand Anisha Maasi - she's become a doorpost.
The one person who seems to be a total misfit is the lead - Disha is still reeling under the Pankhuri hangover, she seems to be uncomfortable with the bubbly chirpy Ayesha - one can always hear Pankhuri in her shrillness. But then I was never a Pankhuri ka pankha.
But overall the Rajshrees seem to have handled the leap well. There are a few disappointments and lots of kudos.
