yeah even i thought about that.
but i would like to think that naniji was in coma since anuj,avantika and preeti were kids.avantika says that her mother was bed ridden for years.

I never noticed that, but now that OP mentions it, hmmm
Although like love_kash's point could also be valid

The age difference between anuj and avantika and preeti may be larger than we think. Anuj could've been married and could've been the only child born (the oldest of the kids), preeti could've been youngish, hence the neglection point mentioned above, If taking all things into consideration time gap and what not it could be possible, but that's with a pretty big stretch

On the other hand something seems wrong in general about all of this. The other flashback might have soemthing to do with it, I guess we'll have to keep watching for all the puzzle pieces to fit

The word bedridden has been used just yesterday.

Earlier, it was said that Naniji died leaving three kids.

Biggest blooper ... come on CVs we are educated people and not suffering from amnesia.

Also in Kaira's fb in one episode it showed Shanky telling Kaira to stay in her room and play and there was this voice preferably that of Nanaji calling out to Shanky ... be quick get the injection... then how come removing the oxygen mask.
