So what's your LUB story AK? How did you confess? Don't be shy...

My 9 yr old daughter has been asking about how we met ... why we liked each other etc...my husband was so embarrassed by her candid questions that he said in our culture we don't talk about this..it's inappropriate😲... I gave him an earful...😡
It's a different world and a different generation... A positive role model of what to expect from a man is very important to discuss with one's daughter... that's my POV...But all these PKDH confession hoopla made me wonder --- is that how things are done nowadays? Is that what my daughter will be expecting someday? it's a lot of pressure on the guy... i think...

There was not such a specific point in my life...I realised gradually dat we love each other..But we dont had a confession like PaYa😆...not only us...I thnk even new generation couple also dnt use " I love U " to confess deir love first( I m not sure though..even my friends also say d same...their partners never used " I love U" to confess .)...I find dat very cliched and artificial...Love shud be expressed in a natural way...notatall preplanned... small jestures and expressions says it well than " I love U " I thnk ...

Well said👏... ahh ... how much more I appreciate my husband when he cooks; does laundry & takes the garbage out... none of the flowers jewelry can compare to that ...

Glad to know you and your friends don't think like that... not that Adi's type of effort should not be appreciated but there is always a possibility that the TRIMMINGS of the event surpasses the actual REASON for that event.

Mine was arranged marriage.

Before marriage, I met my future wife only once.

I asked her only two questions and made one statement.

Are u ready to start this journey of life with me,
sharing all the difficulties and happiness together ?

Do you want to know more about me, other than your guardians have told u ?

Statement - showed her my brown stained right hand fingers and told, I am a chain smoker.

My daughter has heard it somany times that she can recite it.

For people like us the love, caring etc. all are embedded in the relationship itself.

I understand what you are saying about the effort.. but I don't think its possible that it happens in real life that.. who has that much time and money???

Unromantic ones are the best😉... too much romanticism might be a cause for suspicion...

Seems like newer generation are borrowing money to put up a show if needed...that's how the industry that caters to it survives...maybe i see the western culture more from here...but PKDH confession made me think it is more pervasive than I thought...

I dnt thnk any1 from new generation will decorate whole house and arrange fake snow like Adi 2 confess love😆(may be der r exceptions...dont knw much abt hi-fi society people) No1 has time and patience 2 do such thngs...and moreover dis arrangements has nothng 2 do with feelings...A confession/caring from heart is enuf...

Btwn I agree dat new generation spend so much money 4 lovers...4 buying latest model phone, costumes and for trips...

exactly... there is a culture of gifts that wasn't so prominent before... atleast you got dresses...my husband simply gave up cos he doesn't understand my choices (which are very tacky & inexpensive)... I don't know the Hi-fi society at all... I am very middle-class and this one-up & showing off ...seems to be more common in all tiers of life...
