Well I was about to post the same. Since you have already posted it, my guess is he is some remote relative of the Gupta's, may be some kind of Cousin of Diwakar and Pushkar, who is an evil for the Gupta's. Or there might have been some family problem between them and the Gupta's regarding any property issues, but when Ambika actually met her, her reactions were not so scary and she instantly let Pankhuri know that was Geeta, their neighbour. So I'm also not very sure. But I will vote for the first option.

Well he is a male definitely and something related to Guptas or maybe Ambika and Diwakar's son and Pankhuri brother. He would be that guy who had cheated Preeti maasi, i am almost 99.9 % sure about this. Thats the only plausible logic i am getting.

Nothing to fell sorry Dev. We all are so fond of this story we tend to think the same sometimes. Have you noticed Dadaji overheard the convo between Ambika and Sushma, particularly the very dialouge of Sushma which is making all of us mad and he didn't react at all. This gives me the impression that he feels there is nothing to worry about. He might be cousin of Dewakar.
