These situations are fine in a movie because its so compressed - serials have to evolve more naturally and slowly...

The Gupta's are being portrayed as dumb - being good is not equal to dumb, nor are all people from hill stations so completely clueless...

CVs are mixing old world characters and situations with today's expectations. I really think they need to re visit their story line and characterizations.
