No..no...I am not talking about the Mahabharat going between Aaditya's parents 😉.

I am talking about Mahabharat TV show which used to air on Doordarshan many years ago. First thing I noticed was Mukesh Khanna who played Bhishm Pitamah in Mahabharat who plays Aaditya's grand-father. And, today, I noticed that Pankhuri's grandfather is played by Paintal whose brother Gufi Paintal played Shakuni mama in Mahabharat, and he himself played Shikhandi.

It is interesting to see these two actors in the same show after many years.

Yes...I agree...2 amazing characters from Mahabharat played by these 2 people...It will be amazing to watch them together again!!!

Hi,

I just started watching PKDHMMPP yesterday and that's also one of the first things that I noticed. I thought it was pretty cool!

By the way, I read a TellyBuzz article late last year about this show when it was in the pre-production stages, which I'm sure you all saw as well (http://www.india-forums.com/tellybuzz/buzzin-hot/10834-mukesh-khanna-and-sudesh-berry-in-rajshri-production-next-on-sta.htm). It was about some actors who had been approached for this show and it mentioned both Mukesh Khanna and Sudesh Berry, so that brought back Mahabharat memories as well.

I don't know if Mr Berry is/will actually be in the show at some point but if he is/will be then that would be a third Mahabharat person in PKDHMMPP - he played Vichitravirya in Mahabharat!

When I was little I used to watch Shakti Man. Adi's grandad was Shakti Man. He is a great actor.

I havent watched Mahabharata as i was a toddler then😛 but as a kid, Shaktiman was my favourite superhero😉 when i first caught the glimpse of Mukesh Khanna in this show and that too as a grand father, couldnt help but think that my Shaktiman has gotten old😭😉

He is old. Loved Shakti Man. They started showing repeats at some point.

But nice to see him in a more realistic show than shakti man.😆

lolzzz...that was the 1st thing that i realised and saw...still traces of the same way of acting and givng out dialogues...he still stands same way with legs apart..and same way his fingers come out when he is talking...i practcally saw him in inidan attire with dhoti and all...snce this monday i am able to adjust with his attire...i still felt he is givng out dialogue wearing crowna nd white dress and almost teary eyes through out the mahabharat...very less saw him in happy attire...and same here...😆

hahaha u r a weirdooo...u hv ntn better to do thn look at actors sooo closely 🤣 its not even a recent serial..its long bk n u still remember soo much detail😆
